Our first comparison image of the 11th Doctor set, The 11th Doctor is identical so we haven’t included him here.

The latest figures are on the right.

Amy Pond has a white base coat instead of pink, Her dress is more purpley blue than the darkish black on the original release. The jacket also looked lighter on the new figure in our box.

Clara (Oswin) is identical except for the removal of the belt.

Our second comparison picture of the original and revised 12th Doctor set. Both the 12th Doctor and Missy are identical with Bill being the only variant in this set.

The outer images show the variant figure.

The bow in Bill’s hair has been changed to red, the boots to black and a black stripe has been added to the trouser legs.

Our third comparison picture of the original and revised 1970’s set. The Auton is identical so not shown here.

The revised figures are on the right.

The 4th Doctor has white cuffs, trousers instead of just painted boots and a brown undercoat instead of blue.

The Brigadier has a more “sand” colour garments and better face and insignia detail.

Got a 4th Doctor TARDIS set from B&M Yeovil, they have five left on the shelf. They still have the old three figure sets, Clara with the belt.

6 now 5 in B&M Erdington, Birmingham, Mr Anonymous above. Fantastic set, Tardis is lovely, though the 4th Doctor figure leaves much to be desired, destined to become a proper Pertwee.

The UNIT lab is brillaint, something that utterly blew my mind, a Blake’s 7 Scorpio teleport bracelet in Pertwee’s cabinet! I don’t know who you are who designed the box, or where you come from, but what a guy.

Century Retail Park in Hanley have nothing, in fact, they’ve only got those ninth doctor sets from a couple of years ago which makes me think they maybe didn’t bother ordering new ones?

Just this morning popped into the Old Kent Road store in London – no new stock, but they still have the old 3 figure sets from last year. Spoke to the manager there and he said the product codes I have are old and don’t relate to a new order/delivery…! He couldn’t confirm what new deliveries they would get and when…

the product codes for the 3 figure sets are the same, they always have been going back the last few years, as is the Tardis set now.

Unless you look for the differences on first glance the “new” 3 figure sets look exactly the same as the old ones

      Hi Booboo,

The 3 figure sets on the shelves in the Old Kent Road store are definitely the previous releases as none of them have the revised alterations (I did check them thoroughly!).

Definitely the same sets in Old Kent Road, I was there 3 days ago and nothing’s changed. For whatever reason, London B&M’s always seem to be the worst when it comes to these Doctor Who sets/figures (at least from what I’ve experienced)

So can I ask 1 question, why are people even bidding on it’s total madness…just Seen 1 now going for £155…I mean why!!!!

because their auctions are being deliberately hijacked and inflated by non paying bidders, they wont get that price, just a headache. All 3 top bidders have 0 feedback this will probably happen with every auction.

Happened with virtually all the auctions last time

      February 24th, 2019 - 11:20am

Yes it’s just sellers trying to make it seem that these sets are worth more than they actually are. They set up several other accounts (hence the zero rating) and place ‘bids on their own auctions in the hope someone will panic bid on top of that. What usually happens is the item finishes at their own price then they just cancel the transaction which also makes it look like it ‘sold in completed listing searches. I think people have learnt from last year, the first few days the 3rd Dr TARDIS was consistently selling from around £70 – £100 then after a week or so prices levelled out to around half of that. What’s interesting to obverse now that the first few 4th Dr Garcia’s have hit eBay at Buy-It-Now prices of £70 and no takers right away. Due to the fact of what happened last time coupled with the fact there are more being produced this time means the playing field on these should be a little more consistent this time. Keep the dream alive of finding one in store folks!

I don’t think its sellers bidding on their own items to be honest…

2 sets have sold on eBay for £69.99 on buy it now. Crazy considering there are more than enough to go around. Everyone just wait a few days because before long eBay will be flooded with these and the price will fall.

One sold for £69.99 the other for £80. Madness as history repeats itself once again…

I was at a Sheffield B&M today and a member of staff did a live stock check for me. There’s still approx. 5,000 units in the warehouse, but the set is due to arrive in some Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster stores tonight. Presumably they’ll be on the shelves tomorrow or Monday onwards.
