Abbyshot’s stuff is pretty good – If they were available in the UK at a reasonable price I would probably snap up a set!

The Abbeyshot bow tie was £35. Way too much really. I eventually bought it for completist reasons. I know you can pay a lot more for ties, but you can also pay a lot less. What trivialised the tie cost for me, was seeing similar ties, obviously far less good, “free” with DWA. The packaging was substandard too, although it did take up little space.

I say all this, because retailers who experienced the slow sales with the tie might be put off the braces which will not be cheap.

I would love a set too, but dread to think what the price might be

Strangely enough you & I have very similar tastes.
What I find odd is in this case your opinion is the direct opposite of mine in regards to the bow tie. (It’s weird how I can despise some Merchandise & other’s think it’s brilliant & vice-versa!) I suppose different views & whatnot? I actually thought the bow tie for the quality silk was okay & liked the box it came in (From the episode ‘The Bells Of St John’) but it could have done with a cellothane seal…

It always bugged me that Elevens braces were clip on rather than button on

Why? Any braces I have ever seen are clip on.

These are pretty awesome, But they really didn’t need to be “licensed” any old burgundy braces will do for a cosplayer

You can get much cheaper on ebay that dont have the weird DW logo. I wouldn’t pay £17.17 for these, even if they were in UK
