Stocks Arrive – B&M 2021 September Sets Information on Product Codes / Barcodes

Stocks have now arrived and are starting to appear in stores.

We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.

At the time of writing option 3 on published store telephone numbers that allowed you to speak to a member of staff has been removed. You could try the main customer service number, 0330 838 9000 and ask to be put through to your local store or try and find out its direct number.

Shown below are the product codes and bar codes. The app is not allowing you check locations at this time.

We strongly advise you make whatever checks you can yourself to check store availability before traveling.

To find your nearest store visit www.bmstores.co.uk or use the map below. Please contact www.bmstores.co.uk if you require more information.

The B&M Map:

This map is a guide only and shouldn’t be used as a definite indication that a particular store has stock

The map shows most stores, if you see any missing please leave a comment. As the app will not allow you to check stock locations at the moment we may use this map to show the distribution pattern and possible stock locations.

If you see stock and take a picture you can send it to [email protected] and we can add it to the map or you can link to an image you are hosting yourself.

This map has layers, if you click on the icon in the blue header at the top left of the map in the you can select which layers you want to see.

A Dalek will be placed to the right of the store concerned but you will need to zoom in to separate the 2 or click off the store location layer.

Please note as the situation on the shop floor is so fluid we will no longer list stock on the map. As far as we can tell the initial delivery for stores that have had stock was for 12 of each figure set and 6 of each Dalek. As you might expect most stores are selling out of Daleks at a faster rate than the sets. Some stores listed have already sold out of all stock

Nothing in Filton when I checked on Tuesday
Several Marinus sets in Weston-super-Mare High Street when I checked earlier today.
Getting the feeling I will resort to ebay for the Daleks. Especially as a new wave is already amongus

Anything happening at Leicester, Haymarket? I’ll be (hopefully) going there but, I doubt they’ll be anything in stock.

Nothing in Reading Brunel Retail Park again. Seems to be a void in this area! Think I shall order online now.

All four sets are in the Durham store at the moment. There are a few of each, and plenty of “Day of the Daleks’ sets. Good luck folks!

Still nothing in Chesterfield or Bolsover. Given up now and not bothering with feeding the greedy ebay scalpers either on principle. Never mind.

I will say again… it’s great these are being made but, and it is a big but, after last year where a whole wave of figures didn’t get distributed in the South bar one store in Bristol who got stock once and now this wave which is appearing in some stores but not others. Personally I would like to see the end of the B&M range as it’s too stressful and unfair to those, like me, who just want to collect the figures and not have this boring annual hunt for figures, finding nothing and watching scalpers put money in their pockets. I would gladly help out collectors outside of the UK but I can’t even fet them for myself. I know B&M don’t care where the money comes from as long as a range or item makes profit. Unfortunately these figures are not like the rest of B&M’s stock such as a plastic cactus in pot, cheap Lego style knock offs or cat food – these things can be found in other stores and no one is going I must get that plastic cactus from B&M and no where else! They have a unique product that collectors would like to have and can’t get anywhere else.

I can’t be bothered to drive around any more, especially with trying to get fuel as well, and all the petrol stations shut, I might go eBay on this acation, just easier and less stressful.

I know how you feel. I just don’t get it. I have two stores in my town and nothing in either. Plus one about 30 miles away.

It shouldn’t be this joyless task. Great these figures are being made but if you live in the UK and in an area with stores and can’t go to those stores and buy them then it makes it a bit pointless. : (

Another update from Kinnaird Park, Edinburgh!

The small dedicated section has gone and they now only have both Dalek sets ‘through the back’ so they are not on display for some reason! The staff were very helpful and fetched me one of each.

‘The Day of the Daleks’ set in particular is lovely I think! Nice to have them. It’s still fairly mind-boggling that there are Voord action figures!

$69.99 and Goggs1 were $29.99 and people complained? who do they get these from? and what happened to the suggestion that UK buyers should send to the USA / Aus to help out at cost…

    • David Minter

      September 28th, 2021 - 9:26pm

WhoNA does charge more than Gogs1 did, but the service, I thought, was more front coming. If a package wasn’t in mint condition, WhoNA’s listings would tell that. Versus the Witch’s Familiar set I got with a big hole in the front plastic from Gogs1.

My guess is, given the prices and the low stock at WhoNA, they simply order like 5 or 10 of what they can get and pass along the shipping fees.

I did wonder how Gogs1 could offer the same sets for like half the price. Maybe that’s why they’re no longer carrying sets on Amazon.com. It simply wasn’t cost effective anymore.

Still, despite the somewhat spotty results from Gogs1 (About 50/50, from what else I saw here on their results as well as my own personal experiences.) I can’t see people really being justified in complaining about Gogs1’s prices for these sets. But, I guess people will complain about anything. 🙂

I decided to get the Day Of The Daleks set off of eBay, since there’s no guarantee WhoNA will carry more stock. Interestingly enough, I paid roughly the same price importing it from a seller on eBay as I did for the Power Of The Daleks set off of WhoNA. Still, WhoNA is preferred in the US as there’s less likelihood of it getting lost in the mail and, if it does, there is a better chance of tracking it down versus an import, which has to go overseas. Plus, WhoNA would be faster arriving for US purchasers.

As of the time of this writing, WhoNA has 1 Sensorites set left and 2 Power Of The Daleks sets.
