Did anyone order the Evil of the Daleks exclusive (skaro swirl) edition during the Amazon Prime event earlier in the week at the £49.99 price? Just asking to see if anyone else is having a similar problem to me before I ring them again, to see if it’s a national problem or an eastern Scotland warehouse issue.
Twice now they’ve sent me the deluxe (red translucent) edition by mistake, the second time tonight. The first time they could only guarantee me the price if I ordered it again in the last 2 hours of the event and was 36 minutes on the phone so I’m worried to miss out on the offer completely.

The blurb is incorrect. It’s for the next collection after this one. Mind I have to say the price is steep even for 2 extended issues.

I ordered a TARDIS mug a few days ago and Amazon.co.uk sent me the wrong one. They advertised a newer 13th Doctor TARDIS mug, but instead I received the 11th/12th Doctor Zeon mug from quite a few years back now. I really want this Whittaker police box mug, so I’m not sure whether returning the item and reordering will work or just cause this same issue to happen again.

    Any suggestions?

i think they are using an image of the seven20 13th doctor Tardis which is only in the USA generally, i think you might get the wrong one again form a UK seller

i suspect the listing was created by YUK who are a USA seller in the sellers list, if you order ffom them you might get the right one

    • daz

      October 12th, 2020 - 2:43pm

      I don’t support it either.

Without B&M there’d be no Doctor Who 5 inch range.

If they were online through Character too then why would B&M bother investing in the product? Their business model relies on footfall in shops so people buy these and hopefully more tatt and food.

Happy for Character to give us online exclusives from time to time though. They will have to choose wisely what the put out to guarantee they sell out.

I understand frustration from people in South West or areas where no stock has arrived but there is still time. They were only released officially a week ago.

usually FP defaults to unavailable when the stock has not arrived by the due date, or been added to the system, they are behind with orders right now because of the way they have had to adapt to social distancing in warehouse. If you have been charged then they must have arrived i would have thought

if i see them yes, the problem is with a lot of the more “obscure” stuff if i can put it that way is that i just don’t see it unless i constantly scour the internet, its a bit the like commentary cd’s and books on episodes /films etc, sometimes i have to take the view that if they don’t send us the info (which they clearly do other sites) then maybe they dont want it on here. This is on Amazon so thats not an issue for this one.

Are defender of the Daleks #1 and #2 the same thing as timelord victorious #1 and #2? And if that’s the case is ‘Defender of the Daleks collected‘ set to be released 18th November and the ‘graphic novel’ just called ‘timelord victorious’ and set to release the 17th November also just the same thing? Even though the 17th isn’t listed on the official timeline but the 18th is.

Just another thing about this whole TLV saga that I’m confused about. Because the timelord Victorious graphic novel says ‘collects TLV #1 and #2’ but I thought the first thing of the timeline was the defender of the Daleks number 1 and 2. If they’re the same thing is there a reason there are four different sets of titles

    Timelord victorious 1 and 2
Defender of the Daleks 1 and 2
    Defender of the Daleks collected
    Time lord Victorious graphic novel

    I’m so confused

    • SamWho

      October 7th, 2020 - 11:44am

I think it’s only one comic in 2 parts sometimes they call it Timelord victorious and sometimes Defender of the Daleks
As the curator once said it’s all one title
Time lord victorious: defender of the daleks
Then both parts are rereleased together next month
