“Your evil is my good. I am Sutekh the Destroyer. Where I tread, I leave nothing but dust and darkness I find that good!”
In this fourth Doctor adventure, the TARDIS materialises on Earth in the year 1911 inside an old priory owned by Egyptologist Marcus Scarman.
Scarman has been possessed by Sutekh, last survivor of the god-like Osirans, who is held prisoner under a pyramid in Egypt by a signal transmitted from one on Mars. Sutekh desires his freedom and instructs Scarman to construct servicer robots – which look like Egyptian mummies – to build a missile with which to destroy the Martian pyramid. The Doctor foils this plan by blowing up the missile.
He then falls under Sutekh’s control himself and is made to transport Scarman to Mars in the TARDIS. Scarman cuts off the signal but the Doctor, now freed of Sutekh’s influence, realises that there will be a short delay before it stops, rushes back and uses the time control from the TARDIS to move the end of Sutekh’s space-time tunnel into the far future. Sutekh, travelling down the tunnel, is unable to reach the end in his lifetime, and dies.
Contents:
1 x Sutekh with jackal head action figure.

September 11th, 2012 - 6:27pmWhilst the set looks brilliant, I’ll probably have to pass. The same Mummy twice is the main put-off for me, but also I need to save up for the next few months
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 6:02pmSo this is the “Mars Set” – any guesses as to what will be in the “Earth Set”
Judooning
September 11th, 2012 - 6:06pmProbably a Spharagus (Think i spelt it right) and a Sutekh with his main helmet on.
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 6:08pmyes, they wouldn’t go to all the trouble to make a Sutekh and not have the other head somewhere down the line
Cyberdevil
September 11th, 2012 - 6:06pmHopfully Proper Head Sutek with Chair & Sarah Jane Smith (with a hand accesory that you can put by the chair)
I don’t want another plain mummy. It’s been released twice already.
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 6:10pmmay be with a different Jar
I suspect we might get Sutekh with mask , Sarcophagus and 4th Doctor at some stage which i dont mind either
Cyberdevil
September 11th, 2012 - 5:55pmDoes anyone know why it isn’t on Forbidden Planet.co.uk yet?
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 5:57pmno idea, they usually have them up at exactly the same time
Judooning
September 11th, 2012 - 6:45pmI tend to stick to FP.co.uk say i’m also waiting for them to put it on their site.
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 6:48pmstrange they dont have it up, has happened before though – wondering if this is a FP set, underground toys have gone very very quite – they are normally tweeting like mad by now
Judooning
September 11th, 2012 - 7:03pmFP have tended to expand the name of their sets. I mean they made the Enemies of the Doctor sets and they are calling this a ‘Mars set’ so it’s not just the name of the episode title. They tend to be more experimantal with their sets.
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 7:05pmTrue
Fezmeister
September 11th, 2012 - 5:53pmThis is indeed a fantastic set. But, come on, where are the New Series figures?

Cyberdevil
September 11th, 2012 - 5:49pm£20. Fantastic. Getting this. Value for money
TheLostDalek29
September 11th, 2012 - 5:49pm100% going to get this it looks amazing!!! And for only £20, you’d think it would be £30 so thats quite good then. But I really want the sutekh to come with his proper head as well.
Shaney
September 11th, 2012 - 5:46pmGreat set but disappointing that they didn’t give us an interchangeable head for Sutekh.
The Supreme Dalek
September 11th, 2012 - 5:44pmLooks like a superb set for Classic Who fans. 🙂 I have 2 questions though:
• Is Pyramids of Mars a good episode?
• Which of the following classic sets should I get:
Remembrance of the Daleks
Pyramids of Mars
Genesis of the Daleks
booboo
September 11th, 2012 - 5:45pmIts an excellent episode, it depends what you like put this is great value
Jason doctorwhoone
September 11th, 2012 - 6:02pmPyramids of Mars is a great story, so it’s worth you buying the DVD.
If you don’t yet have a 4th Doctor set then I’d recommend getting the Genesis of the Daleks set.
The Remembrance of the Daleks set I would recommend as it includes the awesome Special Weapons Gunner Dalek from Remembrance of the Daleks and Asylum of the Daleks.
I’d much rather buy the Pramids of Mars figure set only if Sutekh came with his mask.
Jason doctorwhoone
September 11th, 2012 - 6:02pmI ment to say ‘if you don’t have a 4th Doctor figure’ not ‘4th Doctor set’.
The Supreme Dalek
September 11th, 2012 - 6:46pmNo, I don’t have a 4th Doctor figure. Thanks for your feedback.
I have to say, they are ALL great sets! 🙂 If I was to chose, I’d either go for one of the Dalek sets. That is because I do not own any Classic Daleks. Here’s what I think of each set:
GENESIS:
This set is good if you don’t own a Fourth Doctor, Classic Dalek and Davros (like me). It’s just awesome! 😀
REMEMBRANCE:
One word: Fantastic! The Special Weapons is such a great figure! 😀
And this set, is great. Love the mummies too! 🙂
I pick Remembrance!!!! 😀
Commander Cool
September 11th, 2012 - 5:42pmYES!!! AT LAST!!!

Jason doctorwhoone
September 11th, 2012 - 5:33pmDAMN !! Why didn’t they just do this set when they first released the Robot Mummy figures ?.
Would be nice if Sutekh comes with his mask to go over his head, it is a very recognizable part of his overall appearance.
McGann is the Doctor
September 11th, 2012 - 5:31pmOh cool ! Character haven’t quit making figures yet ! 😀
Judooning
September 11th, 2012 - 5:30pmPre-ordering this rtonight 🙂 Looks very nice. The Mummy’s look superb as des Sutekh.
