The Fourth Doctor Time Capsule 5″ Figure

The Fourth Doctor Time Capsule

The Fourth Doctor Time Capsule – available now – is an individually numbered deluxe box-set, containing exclusive content and memorabilia from Tom Baker’s era on Doctor Who, including a newly-commissioned interview with the man himself – An Interview with the Time Lord.

Alongside the interview package, the set contains an advance vanilla release of the restored Terror of the Zygons, set to be released in full later this year. Telling the tale of shape-shifting aliens attempting to colonize the Earth, Terror of the Zygons introduces the titular monsters, who are set to return in the 50th anniversary special.

From witnessing the genesis of the Daleks to preventing the death of the universe at Logopolis, the Fourth Doctor was an adventurer on an epic scale. Armed with a gleeful smile, swashbuckling charm and righteous morality, he defeated Sontarans, ancient vampires and the Black Guardian.

It was this incarnation of the Doctor that found and reassembled the Key to Time, that tried to reason with Davros at the birth of the Daleks, and was invested as Lord President of the High Council of Time Lords. Always selfless, his fourth body died saving the universe from the Master. But that moment had been prepared for…

With a limited run of 5000 units, the Time Capsule also includes:

  • An exclusive post-regenerative Fourth Doctor action figure, wearing Jon Pertwee’s trademark frill-fronted shirt
  • A Fourth Doctor sonic screwdriver.
  • An audio version of classic Tom Baker story Genesis of the Daleks.
  • Novel Tomb of Valdemar by Simon Messingham, set during the Doctor’s search for the Key to Time.
  • Art cards of all the Fourth Doctor’s companions.
  • And a letter from Tom Baker himself

Is it possible to make a custom third doctor figure in his last costume from his tenure by removing the head off this figure?

Yes but the peg is different to the third doctors head. You would need to retool it

I’d like a Tenth Doctor Time Capsule. This is what would be included:

Army of Ghosts and Doomsday Blu-Ray
    Letter from David Tennant
    Tenth Doctor Sonic Screwdriver
    Interview with David Tennant
    Martha in the Mirror book
    The Ghosts of India CD
Exclusive Tenth Doctor from the start of The End of Time: Part One and Skeletal Master Figures.

Give it 40 years, Tennant will have earned the right to have one by then.

I would love to buy this set, but is it worth the money? I’m thinking to ask this as an early birthday present, but I’m just not sure wether I should.

When I first saw it (I only glimpsed it for a fraction of a second) I thought it was a Harry Sullivan figure. Wondered for a second why it wasn’t Tom Baker then realised it was.

It just arrived in the post. All I wanted is the figure actually, but all the other stuff are really nicely presented. I just hope the figure will not be re-released somehow because otherwise it would not be exclusive anymore I suppose.

I own the Time Capsule and adore it! Really pleased that the Fourth Doctor is different than the promo picture suggested and has a completely new headsculpt, as well as the new frilly shirt sculpt. I know minor details such as that has caused a couple of people I know to cave in and purchase the set. It’s amazing to see what such a minor difference can do!

I have noticed that the Third Doctor’s waistcoat has been sculpted underneath the jacket. I really hope including this suggests we’re getting a Planet of the Spiders Third Doctor variant.
