Season 6 is a Troughton series

This is in the USA, so I presume they’ve called it ‘seasons’ for their sake. In the UK, hopefully it will be ‘series 6’

Actually I’m an American and we do call it seasons. But we almost always call shows like Doctor Who or Downton Abbey or Sherlock series.

The 11th Doctor looks awful. Since when did he wear a waistcoat in Series 6 with his green coat? Never. And what a lazy thing to do, simply respraying the purple coat from wave 1 green. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to take the purple coat and put it onto the 11th Doctor figure with the tweed jacket?

I found a wave 3 asylum dalek with a black ball on top of the left weapon, anybody knows anything about it?

its a factory error they have put the arm in the wrong way round.

Wat do you mean, are you denying the evidence? Here’s clearly a left arm weapon with a black sphere on the tip of it:

that sphere is the ball that should be in the Dalek weapon housing to make it move, its a factory error

    • The Silent Silent

      September 17th, 2014 - 6:36pm

That’s just a factory error not a variant

I see now what you mean, I’ve basically got a doubled joint left arm weapon (with 2 black balls at both ends: one correctly in place and the other on the tip of the weapon). 😀

They will probably come to the UK. Because I live in America and I’m now just seeing wave 2 hit stores. So I think they will make it the UK

Always wanted the Eleventh Doctor in the green coat. That Day of The Daleks supreme looks wow! CO are really improving on these, I absolutely love the 3.75″ figures.

Would love a 3.75″ Twelve Doctors set though so I can have all Doctors together 😀

And I wish they would hurry up with the new TARDIS playset…The Twelfth Doctor and Clara need it! Go on Character, you know you want to release it hehe 😀

It says the 11th Doctor is from season 6, UK doesn’t call it a season (unless for classic series) could this mean it’s US only or me being picky (I have a kind of pet hate of the word ‘season’ over ‘series’ 😕 😆 )
These figures look nice… Who am I kidding, I see inaccuracies with 11th Doctor like many people have already mentioned. The less said about the sick-green coat the better.
The Dalek on the other hand is brilliant, really want it!!

Not exactly, the heritage line came out only months before wave 3, so they perhaps sought it prudent to combine both lines and just sell them like that.

Not that I’d buy either of these, but I really hope that if they do come to the UK, CO at least has the sense to change the word “Season” on the packaging to “Series”. It’s acceptable for them to do it in America, but definitely not here I feel. Is it bad that that’s my biggest gripe with these? 🙁

Uk toy shops like toys r us, the entertainer, smyths, should have shelves full of wave 3 figures series 8 of dr who is on TV now!

Not even the BBC shop has them on them

it would be nice if character options would reveal what they have coming out.

Agreed..I know the whole argument about the cost of new moulds, but you cant just repaint the coat from one outfit then relabel it and sell it on as his Season 6 outfit…outrageous! CO…you should be ashamed!!

The Dalek is great though and I will attempt to hunt it down…although Im sure they will be released in a UK wave at some point.

Uh… Maybe it’s because it’s nicht sehr gut? (German for ‘Not Very Good’ for those of you who don’t know.)

In all seriousness, this thing looks more like a bad custom than an actual figure… Very disappointing.
