Anyone else agree ? Seeing what the DW sets are like on the internet, knindof ruins the fun of seeing them

instores for the first time, because you have a mental image of EXACTLY what they will be like beforehand, it just spoils it for me. :(

They have poor quality control and half the figures end up with a very poor quality (quite literally, most of the Leelas got recalled) so the prototypes look massively better.

I know it’s a bit off topic, but does anyone think that a replica Key to Time that you can take apart and put back together again with a tracer that has a magnet in it so it crackles when it is close to a segment would be a great toy?! The only Key to Time things you can get are custom made things on Ebay.

Really want to get the 3rd doctors enemies set and city of death set :]
when is it out? ( 3rd doctors set thingy )

    • Posted by: booboo November 13th, 2011

a the moment its 14 December but we know that can change

  6. Posted by: The Last Centurion November 8th, 2011 Reply

why does omega have a removable head ?

    • Posted by: lett November 8th, 2011

because in the episode the 3 doctor he took of his mask to reviel no head

    • Posted by: McGann is The Doctor. November 8th, 2011

Wonder if it will be convincing enough on the actual figure, will it look like he has no head ? Or will it have a big gray peg
to plug it back in ?

      Thus ruining the effect. :?:

      probaly

i want all of these does anybody know anywhere where i can get the dead planet daleks?

    • Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. November 7th, 2011

They aren’t going for cheap on ebay, but, there ya have it. ;)

  8. Posted by: Scott November 6th, 2011 Reply

I really, really, really, really, really, want the omega figure but I just cannot afford this set, it’s nearly the same price as the eleven doctors set

    • Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. November 7th, 2011

I know ! Too dear I think, if it doesn’t come down in price I will just buy the Drashig and Auton figure from ebay. :(

    • Posted by: whofan4ever November 7th, 2011

i only want the omega, the auton and drashig don’t bother me. i like main villians and i might start a time lord display

  9. Posted by: The Silent Silent November 6th, 2011 Reply

I wish they released the omega individually so i could build an army

    • Posted by: Jack November 6th, 2011

      Of Omegas? why??

    • Posted by: Scott November 6th, 2011

theres only one omega, do you mean autons?

    • Posted by: the doctor and bradley November 6th, 2011

there was 1 from the ark of infinity

    • Posted by: The Silent Silent November 6th, 2011

because i like the omegas and it would be cheaper for people who just want the omega like me.

    • Posted by: The Silent Silent November 6th, 2011

And the enemies of the third doctor set is a bit pricey(45) considering the 11 DOCTORS SET IS £50

    • Posted by: booboo November 6th, 2011

Ah, but its because of these classic releases that it was only £50

    • Posted by: The Silent Silent November 6th, 2011

      And I like army building

    • Posted by: Anonymous November 6th, 2011

Yes, but you shouldn’t army build things that there are not armies of, Omega is a character not a monster (well that’s debateable but that’s another argument).

Omega is an evil TIme Lord so you can’t really army biuld with him.

    • Posted by: The Silent Silent November 6th, 2011

Well its good to be imaginative

    • Posted by: the doctor and bradley November 7th, 2011

      yes

From next year on I can announce I will be only collecting classic figures and keeping them in boxes

    • Posted by: Anonymous November 6th, 2011

      WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Posted by: The Last Centurion November 6th, 2011

i just wanted a change really and im getting older but of course ill get some series 6 figures as they should be releasing more next year as doctor who is returing next autumn instead of spring so yeah i will be getting some new series figures just mostly classics

  11. Posted by: sheepinafez November 6th, 2011 Reply

nice i just got the 10″ doctor fig its really good

  12. Posted by: TrialOfTheZygons November 6th, 2011 Reply

I personally think the new packaging is brilliant! :D
Come on, it’s better then having classic figures inside a packaging with matt smith or david tennants logo on it :D

    • Posted by: CatManWho November 6th, 2011

Well, you could argue that Paul McGann’s logo is not appropriate either; a diamond logo might be more appropriate as Product Enterprise and DWM used for a while. I personally feel that the classic figures, with the Tennant logo and blue colour scheme with the wonderful diorama background has produced some of the best looking merchandise of all time. The new classic series packaging is just too dull and cheap looking, like stepping back more than a decade. Most older fans I know are disappointed with this change.

    • Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. November 7th, 2011

I like it, the McGann logo is appropriate as it was used after the TV movie for books and all sorts of merchandise, it’s better than using the Russel T Davies one. :)

    • Posted by: Anonymous November 7th, 2011

It could be the Pertwee logo rather than the McGann one. It isn’t the right colour for either of them so it’s not really appropriate for any era.

  13. Posted by: The Silent Silent November 5th, 2011 Reply

I dont personally collect classics but these are just fantastic. I will probrably get enemies of the third doctor set

    • Posted by: The Silent Silent November 6th, 2011

but it is a bit pricey

    • Posted by: booboo November 6th, 2011

Many people feel that, but its either this way or not at all

  14. Posted by: MadmanWithABox November 5th, 2011 Reply
