This year will be the last time I purchase the yearly Annual. It seem’s to get more smaller & less with every year & seem’s even more childish even for a 7 year old. This 2017 Annual really is an insult!

Does look like a good cover, but I never learn anything from these, their aimed strongly at kids…

Yeah, that’s why they need to re-release the Story Book version again. The like’s of the yearly Annual & Doctor Who Adventures are very much aimed at the 7-10 year old children’s market for younger Doctor Who viewers. Even at my advancing age I still purchase both, but would like to see the return of a more ‘adult’ yearly offering of stories in Annual form.

A very striking cover, Should attract plenty of browsers in the Christmas shops.

I agree, much brighter and more attractive than last year’s annual!

I might even buy one myself when it’s down to £1 after Christmas.

As great as this is, I don’t see much point as no new content can be included so it will probably be similar to last year’s…

I didn’t get (or look inside) the 2016 one, but assuming that went on sale late Summer (as annuals usually do), I’m guessing it didn’t include anything from Series 9 as that would not have broadcast and was probably under wraps when it was being prepared. So I’m guessing the 2017 annual can now start to use stuff around that? And then the 2018 one will have had the benefit of Capaldi’s third season having already gone out in Spring 2017, meaning they *can* use stuff from that (Series 10) already…
