Clara and the Doctor: Linked through time in the most impossible way!

Clara ‘Oswin’ Oswald: The Impossible Girl. She and the Doctor first met on the Dalek Asylum planet where she claimed to have been fending off Dalek attacks for a year, making soufflés – where did she get the milk and eggs? Oswin agreed to deactivate the forcefield around the planet, but when human the Doctor went to rescue her, he discovered the terrible truth. Oswin wasn’t a girl any longer, but actually an insane Dalek who, unable to cope with her conversion, had retreated into a fantasy world. Oswin fulfilled her promise of helping the Doctor, telling him to “Run. Run, you clever boy, and remember…” They will meet again… and again.

impossible-box_twinfinal580

The Doctor, appalled by his inability to save Amy and Rory from the Weeping Angels, retreated to Earth and hid himself and the TARDIS away from the Universe. Another chance but ill-fated meeting with Clara Oswald in snowy Victorian London pulled him out of his solitude and set him back on a new adventure…. to find the Impossible Girl!

Set details:

Presented here in the Impossible Set, together but apart, are the Eleventh Doctor in his iconic Victorian frock coat from The Snowmen, and Oswin Oswald, the Impossible Girl, in her iconic red dress from Asylum of the Daleks.

imposs5801

The Doctor’s outfit features his top hat and jacket with fur and brocade detailing. Oswin’s outfit is a one piece red dress with her soufflé-making accessory belt.

imposs5802

The set is presented in a unique double sided foil embellished SDCC collector pack with ‘peephole’ Dalek eye window on one side and a Victorian winter vista on the other.

The 11th Doctors head can be swapped with the aged 11th Doctors head from the Time of the Doctor set.

No, its simply over priced…one figure is not worth £30…but because we have no choice, we deem it to be worth it rather than missing out on it…and the sad thing is, UT/CO/FP (whoever) know that…hence the over priced sets of late.

Unfortunately this is still pre order. Whilst it was expected at the end of August, we have not received the stock yet.
All dates given are estimated and subject to change.
We are currently in contact with the supplier regarding stock delivery.

The green pre order flag has gone from the site as this items due date has passed. Where updates are received from the supplier we will update the site, and advise customers.

i have just spoken to forbidden planet and they said they are waiting for an update they will update costumers when they get an update i also
said that its unacceptable that they own underground toys and that they haven’t delivered to the deadline got to the deadline 30/8/2014 and haven’t got the items in the warehouse for dispatch forbidden planet said they do own underground toys its part of our company but its separate thing altogether

tbh there’s no excuse because forbidden planet owne underground toys and its not acceptable when a company they owne haven’t got figure’s ready for dispatch for its stores and werehouse to dispach online sales by a ceritan release date is out of order its poor lack of communication with both company’s they owne why cant they email customers to say what’s happened and update us

I hear what you’re saying, and I know you must be upset that your figures haven’t arrived. However, there are many reasons why FP’s warehouse do not yet have stock, the most likely being that the shipping from China to Britain has taken a little longer than expected.

heres an email sent to FBI: dear Forbidden Plannet International,
i am appalled by the lack of information given to me about a set i pre ordered from you. The impossible action figure set that was ‘meant’ to arrive at your store two days ago (30th of August) which still says stock arriving soon. This just shows how bad a company you are due to how much information you have given us and how you go about it.

If ‘the impossible set’ and ‘the time of the doctor’ set wasn’t exclusive to you i wouldn’t even bother ordering from you! after i receive my two sets i shall stick to ordering from the BBC and going to my local forbidden planet store. I hope your ashamed of how bad your service is and I’m won’t be surprised if you even read your support e-mails!

Forbidden Planet cannot help it if a supplier fails to ship a product in time for an ESTIMATED release date. It is silly how frequent this happens (Ace, Claws of Axos, Daemons etc) but FPI cannot help it, and with the stock being potentially limited (remember the War Doctor), FPI are probably thankful they have more time to recieve orders and see how much stock they require to dispatch. So cut them a little slack!

    • booboo

      September 1st, 2014 - 2:24pm

They seem to have found some to sell at retail level in Glasgow when people who paid weeks ago dont have it

forums are full of pictures of USA stock being delivered to customers for days now

people are bound to get uptight especially as there is no revised date

these people are paying customers you make them out to be inconveniences

    • DoctorArkham

      September 1st, 2014 - 7:10pm

Oh no no! I just think FP should be allowed some slack because they are constantly moaned at whenever something goes ONE DAY later than expected. Sure, if like Ace, it goes over a month after, then complain like I did, but just one or two days after doesnt call for a full on complaint.

    • booboo

      September 1st, 2014 - 7:15pm

I believe the compliant is that its now overdue with no indication as to when to expect.

like i have said many time keeping customers informed creates good will and keep them coming back.

Leaving them in the Dark only causes frustration

      September 1st, 2014 - 7:13pm

then why has stock popped up everywhere BUT for us who pre ordered it besides i didn’t even know it wasn’t coming till this morning when i check there website they could at least sent a simple message out some way to tell us!

    • JDPManjoume

      September 3rd, 2014 - 10:15pm

I’d just like to say that the stock sold at Collectormania were NOT sold by FPI. The guy selling them said that his friend who works at Character took them out for him to sell at his stall.

    • David

      September 4th, 2014 - 1:13pm

Its supposed to be exclusive to FP in the UK so what’s Character doing handing them out to be sold at conventions then

  • Ian
