Highly detailed and realistic action figure collection that celebrates 50 years of Doctor Who. Each pack includes a fully poseable 5-inch Doctor and a free-wheeling Dalek from the same era that features moveable eye stalk and gun arm.

The Ninth Doctor with Dalek (Parting of the Ways): The Ninth Doctor was plain spoken and didn’t suffer fools gladly. In spite of this, he still had an irrepressible curiosity and unmistakeable alien outlook, which allowed him to charm and beguile friends and foes alike.

toyr-r-us-9th

After a fantastic series of adventures, this Doctor was saved by Rose Tyler – she channelled the Time Vortex through herself, unleashing it’s power in order to destroy the new Dalek fleet. In return the Doctor saved his companion by absorbing the Time Vortex from her, causing him to regenerate…

The Imperial Dalek
is a darker bronze in keeping with the episode…

Wait… This is the first time they’re releasing an Imperial Guard Dalek figure, isn’t it? I always wondered why they didn’t make them back during series 1.

I agree, shame they haven’t do it, it’d be useful if they recycled a 12” RTD Dalek and used the dome and made it a remote control item so you could operate the dome and eye separately.

I voted for 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, and 11. Only reason I didn’t choose 8 also is because my brother wants to get him.

Afew months after the UK get them we (Australia) will get them either in ABC Shops, Popculcha or Go Figure Collectables. I am sure they will come here in one way or another.

    • Mels

      April 30th, 2013 - 4:25am

Unfortunately, we don’t normally get the Toys R Us exclusives in Australia, (unless individual stores decide to import them). And no, Toys R Us stopped stocking DW toys in Australia quite a number of years ago (at least all mine have).

The Australian distributor for DW merchandise is called “Ikon Collectables” (google it). If it doesn’t appear on that website, then it won’t appear in Abcshop or retailers.

It would be hard to say it’s from Asylum of the Daleks if it’s not metallic blue with a shortened rear panel. I’m hoping Eleven is in his costume from A Good Man Goes To War and Dinosaurs On a Spaceship.

Do you think they would release the Holographic Doctor in this set? As it was in the same story, and would fit in nicely with this set, I can dream, but it would be really nice if they did something like that!

unless it had already been tooled but not released, who knows

      April 29th, 2013 - 4:14pm

Actually the cannon/blaster gun was on the original prototype which never released so they could use that if they slightly alter it
