November 6th, 2013 - 5:32pmAfraid so. But they’ve been in and out of stock online 3 times now over the past 2 weeks. They may get stocks back in again.
Best thing to do is sign up on the TRU site for stock notification via email and text if you can. That way you should be alerted when they’re available again.

My text arrived 3 minutes BEFORE the stock was showing on the TRU website, and I got them all ordered!
Still can’t find the 3.5″ Emperor’s Guard anywhere – tried TRU Peterborough, Northampton, Bedford and Leicester…..

where we live there are no stockists, not even the big supermarkets keep Doctor Who stuff here so we have to rely on on-line sale of which there are none at the RRP

November 4th, 2013 - 2:24pmThis brings back memories of when the full range of Paradigm Daleks were first available on CO’s website. It didn’t take long for the Supreme and Eternal to sell out.
Luckily I managed to order my 2 8th sets (one for me one for a friend) just before it sold out. I just hope the majority of the sets were bought by genuine fans this time and not the E-Bay scalpers.

You shouldn’t have to hunt these things down, but anything involving the Character Options supply chain seems to end in a fiasco. Also isn’t it odd that these figures are so popular and yet CO are finishing the line because of lack of interest. Maybe they just made the wrong figures, who knows. #justsayin’

November 4th, 2013 - 4:28pmI had the same problem with their e-mail alerts last week so this time I went for a text alert instead which came through this lunchtime no problem. I agree though these sets shouldn’t be this difficult/frustrating to get hold off. For a while now I think CO have made some poor choices with regards to which figures they release. I’d say that’s one of the reasons why the Series 5 and 6 range didn’t do so well.

October 31st, 2013 - 7:48amEmailed toys r us as Booboo said and they were less than helpful claiming that they know nothing about the five new sets since ive now been to every toys r us in central Scotland even the big ones and every member of staff there looks at ne like an idiot when i enquire. Im not happy and this needs to be sorted because i only want 1, 3 and 8 which obviously don’t exist anywhere but England.

October 29th, 2013 - 6:00pmWent to my local TRU in Bedford again this time I spoke to the manager about these last five sets and he rang up some TRU stores to see if they had any stock. he told me that lots of TRU stores do have the 1st,3rd and 8th but the guy that spoke to the manager on the phone said that the reason why you have not had any stock of them is because you are a small store. I do have some good news…. The manager has ordered the last lot of these sets to be delivered to the Bedford TRU Also he is going to save me the 1st, 3rd and 8th when they arrive!!!
