Passionate about life and the beauty of the world about him, this Doctor’s love of humanity drove him to fight his old foe the Master deep within the heart of his own TARDIS. It remains unclear when, how or why exactly he regenerated into his Ninth body, but he had clearly done so shortly before meeting Rose Tyler on Earth.

Do these sets come with a sonic screwdriver, or just the doctor and dalek?

must say these sets are great , well worth £20 a time. dr figures are very accurate and the daleks seem fairly sturdy , especially as my 3yr old loves to play with them the , his sets i add , my ones still in box.! is the 10th dr ‘the rare one’ out of the series?

My one came today! i’m annoyed that I bought it before they were reduced but who cares?! the only down sides other than the price is they used the talking dalek mould – it has a circle and on the same side of the circle is a biggish silver paint scratch.

Wow 8th Doctor Mini episode, so good to see the 8th Doctor again even tho it’s short.
Ordered 8th Doctor & dalek set form toys r us website, fed up of trying to get from Manchester store. Milton Keynes has some of the new waves in but not all. I was down there today for Collectormania (Paul McGann was there also!) Toys r us in nor far from Train station. I got first Doctor & supreme Dalek at last, just waiting for Doctor 8 & Alpha!.

Really chuffed I got this set; after TNOTD it seems all the more anniversary – appropriate. Mr McGann , you’re a brilliant actor and a great Doctor. Eight is my favourite all over again now :0)

Having just been on the BBC iPlayer, I feel I should point out to Character that they need to do a costume up date for Eight.

    Mind Blown!!!

Managed to order the 11th and 3rd Doctor sets on Friday, but no luck with the 8th. Got a text alert while online yesterday – out of stock by the time I opened the Toys R Us site.

I think the emails get sent first – noticed they were dated around 4pm while the text was nearer 6pm – if so no wonder they were gone by the time I checked.

Still no sign of the figures in the Lakeside store either – though there a loads of the 6th Doctor set there… which really isn’t a surprise.

I spoke to the manager at TRU Reading yesterday. He said all the sets will be in stock in the future, and the high demand has caught them out. When I told him Alpha Dalek sets were going for around £50 on eBay he was amazed. Not like they have ceased making them!

they should have looked at our poll, obvious what would happen,

The 3rd is lower down because people didn’t know what to expect when we started it

I don’t blame the Ebay resellers, it’s just like anything else: People buy and people sell, like Supermarkets etc. The problem occurs when the only distributor (in this case Toys R Us) doesn’t make enough. I think Toys R Us have handled this wave quite poorly, they haven’t even got these out to the shops yet and it’s been ages! If there were enough to go around, the Ebay resellers wouldn’t actually be able to sell them at a very high price due to the amount going around.

I swear, if CO still think the 5 inch scale is the problem after this…
