By his own admission, the Eleventh Doctor is a genius and a madman. He has the same sparking intelligence as his predecessors but it seems to be firing in every direction at once.

He has the curious innocence of a child mixed with the ancient wisdom of the centuries, and leaves everyone around him racing to keep up. He can seem clumsy and chaotic but only a foolish enemy would underestimate him. As always he has a powerful sense of right and wrong and a determination to do what’s right.

Not in 5″ scale. There is going to be a 10th Doctor and possibly other characters but only in 3.75″ form.

    • pandorica666

      October 19th, 2013 - 9:49pm

I really hope its not just in 3.75″ scale because they look awful in my opinion! I hope they do an exclusive or something that includes a Clara, john hurt doctor, 11th doctor in the new outfit and maybe a new 10th doctor in 5″ because Its really annoying that character changed the scale so randomly.

    • booboo

      October 19th, 2013 - 9:52pm

The new scale are selling far better than the 5″ line

wouldn’t surprise me if we see very little new 5″ stuff now if any

    • pandorica666

      October 19th, 2013 - 10:30pm

I still think they would have been better changing the scale for series 8 rather than halfway through series 7 though and its not that I don’t like the new figures its just they look awful and the articulation is quite limited, they should have been made with a GI Joe mould or a decent figure line like that.

In actual fact, the 11th Dr figures is more of a variant than you think.

    1. Plain white shirt/Blue bowtie (New combination)

    2. The body/Jacket is the one used from the Pandorica wave 11th Dr in Fez, with it’s smooth light brown jacket. Note how the 11th Dr has no ball joints on the shoulders.

    3. The hair has been given some light brown highlights to bring out extra detail.

Are either the Doctor or the Dalek a new variant. The Dalek looks to have a metallic look and the Doctor appears to have a new he’d sculpt but it’s hard to tell from the photo.

The Eleventh Doctor’s body is the Series 5 version with White Shirt, Blue Bow Tie and Series 6 Headsculpt and the Dalek Stratagist is as it appeared in that Episode.

We’ve all wanted a new Dalek Sec, and now we can because CO, accroding to DoctorWhoToys.net will release a NEW Doomsday set, with The Doctor (new 3d galsses), a new progenitor Dalek style Sec, and a Cybus Ind. Cyberman.

distance between neck slats, gun/plundder housing, smaller base etc etc

So it’s in Austraila? I really would like to replace my old Dalek Sec, as almost everything on that figure is inaccurate. However he was my first doctor who figure. 🙂 If the UK still has those 2005 talking Daleks you could paint it black.

  • That Random Whovian

    August 26th, 2013 - 3:31pm

Thinking about it, a destroyed Oswin Dalek with chains would probably’ve been a more interesting choice than the Strategist we have here. It wouldn’t necessarily require any new sculpting – just give it a wartorn paint job, hack a few pieces out of it, done! Technically, you could also include an alternative detachable head for the Doctor, with the cuts and bruises he sustained within the episode, which wouldn’t need any sculpting either.

Now THAT would make a great set! 😀

indeed it would! i wanted character to make a oswin figure and a dalek that open up so she could go inside.

    • DOCTOR WHO ONE

      August 26th, 2013 - 7:01pm

Anonymous :If there was such a figure of Clara as a Dalek, it would just be here as a Dalek mutant, not as her normal self sitting inside a Dalek casing. Remember that the Doctor told her they did a full conversion on her to make her into a Dalek mutant.

If you have the old Mutant Reveal Dalek figure, you can just pretend it’s Clara, or rather Oswin, and she was never called Clara in ‘Asylum of the Daleks’, that version of Clara was known just as Oswin Oswald.

    • DalekTheSupreme

      August 26th, 2013 - 7:31pm

I actually prefer the metallic Strategist Dalek, as I like the metallic paint on the 2012 New Paradigm Daleks than the original ones from 2010. Besides, you could easily substitute a normal bronze dalek for Oswin, maybe with chains from the single release of the Silurian from Series 5.

    • Kroton

      August 27th, 2013 - 10:17am

Imagine if in the episode the doctor opens up the dalek and finds the daleks have actually just squashed oswin into a dalek case! XD

    • That Random Whovian

      August 27th, 2013 - 3:00pm

Mr DalekTheSupreme, sadly I don’t own a Silurian figure 🙁 There are far too many excellent figures that fall into that category.

I agree with you about the Strategist, the metallic effect looks far better than the bright blue jelly baby Dalek we saw in Victory – at least in Asylum of the Daleks, anyway. Dare I say it, the “new” Daleks don’t actually look so bad. A black one would’ve been more welcome than an orange one, for me.

    • DalekTheSupreme

      August 27th, 2013 - 6:51pm

I love the Paradigm Daleks, though they do look far better in the metallic paint. A black Scientist would’ve been interesting, but I’d have gone for silver. The rest are pretty good, and I imagine the Eternal might be gold with the metallic paint! 😀
