The Tenth Doctor

The Tenth Doctor had a bright, sparky personality yet he rarely gave second chances to his foes. Leaping back into the TARDIS with a series at extraordinary companions, he seemed the most vivacious Doctor so far.

10th-doctor-dalek-5802

Following repeated battles with old foes and after a cataclysmic encounter with his own people, in the end this Doctor gave his own life to save that of Wilfred Mott, absorbing radiation that would have proven fatal to his old friend.

He was able to stave off the regeneration process long enough to bid farewell to his past companions and reach the safety of the TARDIS, where the Doctor began to regenerate, alone…

So are Character Options considering Series 1-4 + 2009 specials as part of the classic range now? so will be see new 5″ figures from the RTA era?

      April 26th, 2013 - 3:37pm

BBC Worldwide consider it as such so CO have to follow as a merchandiser.

Technically the 5” range is continuing for absolutely any story between An Unearthly Child and The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrober although you’ll be unlikely to see anything after 1989.

    • josh smith

      April 26th, 2013 - 5:02pm

you mean anything after 1996 paul maggun is a classic doctor

    • booboo

      April 26th, 2013 - 5:02pm

up to the 11th in the eyes of the BBC yes

    • Professor When

      April 26th, 2013 - 5:08pm

You may disagree with me, but I like that. I think there was a bit of a barrier between nuwho and classic fans, and small changes like that could help unite all whovians 🙂

its becasue new who is too diffrent

    • Doctor Stu

      April 26th, 2013 - 6:12pm

So if you think about it you could say the 5″ range is continuing if you just wait a long time. Also when the 11th Doctor regenerates into the twelfth, do you think we will get a 5″ Clara?

    • josh smith

      April 28th, 2013 - 2:53pm

Cool set for those who missed these the frst time round.

Am I right in thinking that in the first 3 sets, the only variation is with the Daleks in the 10th and 2nd Doctor sets (weathered and green lights, respectively)?

I know a lot of people are going crazy for these things, but does anyone else think that CO should make the 5″ ones as well as the 3.75″ figures? if anyone agrees that the 5″ ones should still be made leave a reply about it, and, if we have enough replys, someone contact CO, tell them to look at this section of comments and maybe CO will think twice about not making the 5″ ones anymore!!!!!

    Reply
    • booboo

      April 5th, 2013 - 11:22am

they wont make any new figures in 3.75 and 5 inch as one would take the market away from the other making both non-viable

You will get 5″ figures where no new tooling is required (except for classics) and where variants are possible with different colour schemes hence these sets.

The decision has been made and there will be no thinking twice.

    April 4th, 2013 - 2:07pm

I think everyone should calm down! Let’s focus on the positive, eh? Like how character has bothered with a new paintjob for this dalek, or how it may be the last 5″ tenth doctor set, as BooBoo said, it will come out when Character are ready, and people should go this crazy for it, otherwise, BooBoo may not put other “future productions” on here! 😮 😕

ALSO, think about Toys R Us… How many are there in Britain? There used to be 2 in Birmingham, but now the City Centre’s one has been closed for years. Theres like one Toy’s R Us within 2 miles radius of you City Centre, if not IN you City Centre, and thats good, I bet TRU will be thriving when these come out 😉

Quick question here guys, how many of you like the new size of action figures? I don`t because imagine how small some of the accesories will be! Guns lost, arms broken, stiff heads ect.

I don’t because it means I’ll no longer be able to collect figures as they’ll be out of scale compared to my 5″. Also, they won’t be as good’a quality as the 5″ ones.

Well, you never know, tbh i don’t really care what they do. I may not get one anyway, Birmingham Stores are not very stocked on the latest deliveries. Like places such as B&M. Not sure on TRU, haven’t been there in YEARS. 🙂 Exited to go in April. :))
