August 13th, 2025 - 2:45pmHi, Everyone how you doing, just thought I’d let you know that I managed to get the Dalek Sets at Northumberland Retail Park, they have plenty of the Dalek Sets but sadly no sign of the TARDIS. I can’t provide photos as my phone is old as the hills just a basic ring and text, but am true to my word that the Daleks have landed at Northumberland Retail Park they just came in today.

They had plenty of the Eve Of The Daleks Sets in at about 1pm this afternoon, it was pretty quiet than probably about 5 or 6 after I bought one. They next to last year’s wave the parting of the ways, just look very carefully I nearly missed them myself as they look similar they had a notice below them to ticket me please as they didn’t have a price yet but that’s where they were.. Did you ask a member of staff? they might of had more in the back if they had none on the shelf.

August 13th, 2025 - 12:33pmWhen I got both My sets Yesterday from Doncaster lakeSide, the Dalek Sets were Really low Down on the bottom shelf whereas the TARDIS Sets were Very High up on the Top Shelf.
Found the Daleks Straight Away but nearly missed the TARDIS. I was about to go to the Till when I spotted them at the last Minute. Please B&M, put them all together. The Hunts Stressful Enough as it is.

Hypothetically, besides being lucky enough to find them in your store, which I am not all that confident of, or going down the route of EBay pisstakers, what other realistic options are there? I find this all very frustrating to be honest, and I am sure that I won’t be the only one.
I gather from that map, which I didn’t understand at first, they haven’t left the North yet, and some seem to be speculating the South won’t see them
Open to any suggestions how I can get this set at a *reasonable* price, which 2x RRP just isn’t

August 12th, 2025 - 8:52pmLinwood in Paisley had the Dalek sets, but don’t bother looking because some scalping so & so in front of me made off with all but one, and I think that was only because I was hovering behind him. He shoved the one Eve set to the back, no doubt hoping I wasn’t after it so he could swing back around and hover up all six sets they had. No Tardis’ though. I managed to get that one Dalek set that was left. Had a look around other central Scotland stores and there was nothing in stock elsewhere.
They also had some of the MR diecast Tardis sets – 15th Doctor – which I had never seen in the wild before. A nice item, and would make a good paperweight if nothing else so I picked one up.
Brave heart all, I’m sure these will start showing up in greater numbers in the coming weeks.

August 12th, 2025 - 11:54pmI was in Linwood earlier about half 12pm, so they must have put them on the shelfs after that, because they weren’t there when I was, managed to get a Dalek set at Coatbridge, but someone had taken ALL 6 of the TARDIS sets (the staff confirmed this for me). I really hope I get one, as I missed out on the original release of 13s TARDIS

August 13th, 2025 - 6:13pmThis was about 11am at Linwood so you missed them by a whisker. You’d have probably have snagged a set as I was only after one, if that sneaky basket hadn’t gobbled up the rest. No consolation I know but I was out again today and no evidence any stores nearby have any yet.

I spoke to the manager & he said it’s unlikely they’ll get them in this time round. Apparently some stores are decreasing the size of their toy aisles too. Doesn’t bode well for us down in the south.

There is currently one store in Central Scotland that has had stock of Tardis and Daleks, and I managed to get Daleks but someone had bought ALL 6 of the TARDIS last night, which I think is completely unfair, should be 2 per customer

August 12th, 2025 - 7:53pmI’m in a Facebook group for Character Options figures, and one of the ex-workers said their main warehouse is in Liverpool, so maybe that one is there for even Distribution, but it’s obviously not working

August 12th, 2025 - 8:35pmAll stock is sent to liverpool, they send it out to northern stores and then to the Bedford warehouse who then allocate it to southern stores all of which can ad several days if not weeks

August 13th, 2025 - 9:48amWhen the B & M Dr Who sets started appearing it was always the South warehouse who got them first for years. It’s only changed in the last two to three years and even then they rarely appear in the north east for long. So we’ve had to wait longer over the years. I agree the distribution system as a whole is useless though, as is the policy of letting people buy as many as they like in one go. Nothing wrong with that u may think, but it’s not morally right as they would sell them all anyway, but if they restrict it to two per person maximum, then they would get fewer queries/complaints and the scalpers would lose out, rightfully so.

August 13th, 2025 - 9:57amits been said many times it would be impossible to police 2 per customer, it would lead to the checkout staff being wide open to abuse and that Will happen, or they will just go in with friends and family, if B&M have to go down that route for just one product line they might think its to much hassle.
Also many people go in to pick multiples up for other reason such as helping people out and that would also stop.

August 13th, 2025 - 10:16amYeah, I’m seen on many Fan Sites that some People have Bought 3 or 4 Daleks and 3 Or 4 TARDIS in the Past, and when Someone has Confronted them online about it. They Usually say One Sets to Open and Ones to Keep Boxed up and One or Two more are For Friends? One Particular Guy that Comments Everytime there’s New Dr Who B&M Sets Available, Buys 3 Sets.(The Usual One To open and One to Keep Boxed up) The Other is For A Disabled Friend who Finds it Hard to Get out. Which I find Very Touching.
It’s not Only Scalpers that Buy Multiple Sets so should these People be Punished Aswell?
