To be honest I think this service is terrible.

Just had 2 and 3 as well. Quite a tight bag with mags wrapped slightly around figures.

      Address label on bag said:
“Product ID 1;2″…which you normally would take to mean the first two issues.

Guess for Daff, others and myself it will be a lottery now as to whether we get issue 1. I have heard of another collector having got issues 1,2 and 3 today.

I spoke to DMWI yesterday about the payment issue which is now resolved, and asked about DWFC to which they responded about problems; obviously it was already in post, or some of them…

I subscribed from issues 2 yet product ID strangely had i;2 which I assume means issue 1 and 2, so that shows how sloppy they are.

Tried to get an update from Database Factory – sent the following query:

Please advise, test issue 5 has now been released (and is apparently the last one before this magazine series is issued nationally).

Will those of us who subscribed to this set eventually receive any of these issues? Or will the subscription be transferred to the national release sometime later this year?

…Was the option to take out a subscription actually just a test to see how much interest there was in this series of magazines/figures or is it the case that there were insufficient magazines/figures produced to send to both retailers and subscribers?

Remarkably, after 4 attempts, I received a reply (perhaps because I also copied it to other named members of Database Factory’s Customer Care Team).

      Database Factory reply:
Thank you for your recent e-mail.

Doctor Who Figurines was released as a test subscription to see how well received the collection would be.

Hopefully the collection will be launched nationally later in the year, this is at the publishers discretion and something that has not yet been confirmed.

If/When the subscription does launch nationally all stock will be available and fulfilled, should you still wish to subscribe at this point.

I know they’re only test issues at the moment, I’m just wondering what days its out on, because if it clashes with DVD files, then I’ll have to spend nearly £14 every two weeks! But I’m subscribing so…

No, five is the norm for test issues, I think they just show issue 6 as its easier when it launches nationally as the issue will have a next time page.

I still have no had any issues sent, so am imagining and now hoping with it being the final issue that it will be a 5 issue job lot.
