New Doctor Who Pop! Funko’s Due
According several sources including posters on this site various new Doctor Who pop! Funkos are due to be released.
These can only be ordered in-store at a USA retailer for now (presumably as they are on their system)
There are no pictures yet or any indication if this is wave 3 or exclusives.

The Twelth Doctor in the Space suite is my favorite and most prized one so far.

April 17th, 2016 - 6:35pmI don’t really love POP’s, the style is kinda weird and the eyes put me off them.
That said I do own two, Cthulhu because I’m a Lovecraft fan. And Reverse Flash from the Flash tv series, because at that time no other figure of him existed.
However that 12th doctor with guitar has me interested, if he has the sunglasses on I’m definitely going to get one.

Would like to see the first 3 doctors and some of the early monsters such as Yeti, Ice warrior and Alpha Centauri!!!

as far as merchandise goes it stopped being British a long time ago
the down side to this is of course is that the money available to spend on doctor who merchandise is so diluted that some franchises are bound to suffer.
a few years ago ALL we could buy was the 5″ figures
now we have Big chief, Funko, Titans, Figurine Collection, harrops and more
not difficult to see what’s happened

New series Doctors, Daleks, Davros I’m fine with…but the classic series is where it’s at…8 Doctors to be made yet…along with The Brigadier…Jamie, Zoe (catsuit!!!), Jo Grant, Leela, Adric, Peri, Ace…The Delgado Master…Deadly Assassin Master…season 18 4th Doctor variant (which would then open up the door to a meglos Doctor woooa!)…and think of the aliens / monsters…not that chances for too many of these are slim but look at the pickings (and this is just an example!)…Omega, Auton, Alpha Centuri, Aggedor, Tomb Cyberleader, Invasion Cyberman, Earthshock Cyberman, Wyrm, Sontaran Lynx or/ Stir, Kandyman, Sil, Mechanoid, Mr.Sin, Voc Robot, Sutek, Fendahl, Nimon, Mandril, Mawdryn etc etc etc etc….all this before Clara’s and Missy’s please!!!

April 17th, 2016 - 11:41amYes but I imagine Funko! are needing to do what Chatacter Options have been doing to maximise revenues and keep their line (just about) going, which is to get the most out of each sculpting, tooling and mould they make hence tweaks and variants to already-released characters. Sell enough variants of (say) the 11th Doctor and then they can more easily make the case to their board/accountants to release the development money to create a completely new one. With CO, the cost of creating an all-new figure from scratch was around £50,000. Funko Pops can recycle more generic bodies in some cases. But that’s why, I think, you’re not seeing a Wirrn, followed by Linx followed by a Krynoid (etc.) – too expensive to do all close together, these days. (The DW Figurine Collection is a slightly different business model, so they can scratch-sculpt something new for every issue – and even they occasionally resort to ‘tweak variants’ like the upcoming Wooden Cyberman- issue 72 – essentially a repaint of issue14.

Say that each wave of Pops have had 9 per wave (excluding exclusives), and each wave is released every 6 or so months. That’s asking a lot to be covered, and not everyone is going to buy it.
Funko will most likely be looking at the most recognisable and loved characters rather than a Wirrn from the 1970s or a Plasmavore etc.
Just be thankful and grateful for what we have.

April 16th, 2016 - 10:59amIt is highly unlikely that they will make a Clara or any more companions! Although at the end of this year they will most likely make one for the new companion! Although they might make Clara, and have her in her blue jumper and an exclusive with her red dress from asylum of the dales, hpfully they will make twelfth doctor in Davros chair! As for the war doctor I think they will do one version with screwdriver and another with the moment! Although the 10th and 11th shall just be standalone i.e with no exclusives! I have been collecting funko pops for the last 2.5 years so I am almost certain this shall happen!

My favorite is either Groot from guardians of the galaxy or Ross Geller from Friends or the 11th doctor with handles and then unmasked ant man with mini ant man!
My rariest is the twelfth doctor in spacesuit or materializing tardis from the festival!
In total I have exactly 76 pops!
If you are a pop collector you should subscribe to pop in a box where you thumbs up and down which pops that you want and do not want! So once a month you get a box with a pop funko inside with a box and it is a complete mystery! It costs between £8.50 a pop and £6.15! Depending on how many you pick, between 1-12! And you can get exclusives and oversized pops like the tardis which are prizes! and you can stop at anytime!
