December 6th, 2024 - 12:50pmHad an email this morning with a link to a video – its gots some very nice , very tempting features. A working claw and a very interesting effect in the eyepiece. If I was younger and wealthier and had a little less wariness induced by the collapse of other companies I’d go for it !

November 20th, 2024 - 9:04amUnlikely I know, but they could pick up The Complete History from where it left off, do Jodie’s era plus 14th/early 15th, there would be a readY market, all those who purchased the previous run; 10 volumes easily possible; means they would make it to 100 books plus breathe life back into the old stock or offer them digitallY, if they don’t do it, Terraqueous or others certainlY will!
TheMaster
November 21st, 2024 - 10:03amUnlikely as it was produced by PANINI ♀️
As it was extended dwm articles additional to others. The still use the content in the DWM specials.

November 18th, 2024 - 12:53pmit doesn’t appeal to me (to many parts and to much money ) but i got an idea for a partwork and not that many parts to it either how about all the doctor who and daleks annuals reprinted with a magazine i would get it and it would be over in about 40 issues
MJS
November 18th, 2024 - 4:09pmOne of the Hachette partwork suggestions following the Complete History was a full set of Target novels in hardback. I voted for it. But it clearly never happened….they should though.
time lord
November 18th, 2024 - 4:59pmMJS they should
Rory
November 18th, 2024 - 5:04pm@MJS, my wallet is glad they never started on that one.
Nick D
November 29th, 2024 - 8:15amIt is a lovely model but for me it’s far too big, 18-inches would be better and it needs a lot of modification, for example the spokes on the gun stick are too thin, there are other numerous issues. Not only is the base colour off there is no weathering. For this price these things should have been picked up on.
It is lovely just not for me.
Steven
November 18th, 2024 - 4:54amCan anyone confirm that it is only available in the UK?
JSY
November 19th, 2024 - 11:05amIt’s available in the US https://dalek.hachettecollections.com/
MJS
November 16th, 2024 - 3:24pmIt’s a nice build, looks great, good size, but unlike the Complete History books, I’m not prepared to spend in excess of 2 years to build a “thing”. On that basis, I’m out.
beef
November 16th, 2024 - 9:02amwas gonna subscribe but it’s not gonna make it all the way to the end so no point. who wants to spend £500 on half a dalek
JM
November 18th, 2024 - 1:41amDepending on which half, Davros might
WhoWhatWhere?
November 16th, 2024 - 4:45amAll the people, so many people, and they all go hand in hand, hand in hand through their… Part-works!
Know wot I mean?

November 16th, 2024 - 5:41pmWere you rudely awakened by the bin men?
Cully’s Pal
November 15th, 2024 - 6:22pmCan anyone find it on the Hachette site. Doesn’t seem to be a search option. Click on the email link and something else comes up – for me anyway.

November 15th, 2024 - 9:23pmhttps://dalek.hachettepartworks.com/
It’s just an express interest link
Cully’s Pal
November 16th, 2024 - 2:11pmThanks Joe – blimey ! Its quite a whopper nearly three feet high if I converted my centimetres correctly.
It should certainly be an impressive sight if it is completed.

November 15th, 2024 - 6:06pmThese part-works are normally between £9.99 to £11.99 per issue with the first issue for £1.99.
They are usually between 100-120 issues which takes around 2.5 years for the final issue.
I subscribed to their T800 Terminator endoskeleton and it took 2.5 years and eventually cost over £1200 ( and that was pre-Covid)

November 17th, 2024 - 7:59pmthis is about £1700
Cully’s Pal
November 21st, 2024 - 5:02pmMight be worth getting the first issue as a collectors piece.
Cully’s Pal
November 15th, 2024 - 4:36pmLuckily I have the Weta ‘open’ Dalek which has always been my favourite piece of nu-Who merchandise. I think it negates the need for this one.
KNs47
November 19th, 2024 - 2:23pmYeah, I’ve got that. Wonderful collector piece.
Moodbeam
November 15th, 2024 - 4:21pmI want it but I’m not willing to commit to something that will cost hundreds of pounds and may possibly not be completed at the end.
Jordan Bellamy
November 15th, 2024 - 4:08pmthese kinda magazines, never reach completion, i’m amazed they still bother producing these kinds of things..
Neil
November 15th, 2024 - 4:20pmThey managed to do the full run of ‘The a Complete History’ books, in fact o think it went beyond what was originally planned?
Cully’s Pal
November 15th, 2024 - 4:38pmI will admit I got all the boxes of the De’Agostini TB2. It’s still waiting for me to build it a few years after I got all the parts. Works out I could have got a very siliar Thunderbird 2 already built for somewhat cheaper on ebay. The parts are bound to cost a lot of money.
NickD
November 15th, 2024 - 8:41pmA lot are successful this company have put out lads. Just check out World of Wayne on YouTube he builds loads of these. I rather like the RoboCop one he’s building.
Excello
November 16th, 2024 - 12:43pmEveryone always says this and it’s just not true? Part works have been a successful business model for decades, very few don’t make it to the end
The DR.
November 17th, 2024 - 11:03amI think it’s the “Very Few” that everyone’s worried about Excello?
Pertwee’s Pyjamas
November 15th, 2024 - 3:59pmHow many parts/issues in the partwork? If it’s hundreds that amounts to a LOT of money, commitment, and hope that it makes to the end…
Cully’s Pal
November 15th, 2024 - 3:29pmThe big worry is making it to the end. I’d love it but just dont want to risk it. The bother with Big Chief has just destroyed any long term commitment to a project like this.
Snowman
November 15th, 2024 - 4:19pmWhat about Eaglemoss Cully’s Pal. Besides Dr Who they did alot of other Franchises and they did a few of these “PartWorks”. I heard some were only half way through?
Cully’s Pal
November 15th, 2024 - 4:33pmYes there’ve been a few gone under…. I wish Id been owed stuff by eaglemoss rather than Big Chief though it wouldnt have been as much money simply flushed down the toilet…..
Radburn
November 16th, 2024 - 7:53amJust imagine you get to 423 Issues & they then cancel it….
Snowman
November 16th, 2024 - 12:40pmI think as Joe 90 above Mentioned they’ll probably be around 100-120 issues of this Magazine. There’s usually around that Number in these Magazine Builds and that will still take 3 Years to Complete.
Paul
December 1st, 2024 - 7:53pmStill works out cheaper than a round at the pub
Matt
November 15th, 2024 - 2:59pmDoes anyone know when it’ll be available to pre-subscribe again? Received the email today explaining this but it doesn’t say anything about subscribing?
booboo
November 15th, 2024 - 3:01pmI think it will all go live on the 8th
