The Living Shadow
May 3rd, 2014 - 4:33pmAlthough I wasn’t too keen on him as a character, I think that max Capricorn will be a fantastic figure!!
Anonymous
May 3rd, 2014 - 4:50pmThat assumes the figure actually comes out, the list has been changed.
The Werewolf
May 3rd, 2014 - 5:17pmI disagree Mr Shadow, I think it’d make the type of figurine you’d hide at the back of the collection, and not because it is bland and uninteresting like a human, but because it is just awful.
This is one of only 2 figures on this original list that I object to, the other being a Smiler (though when Catkind turned out to be Brannigan – that made the 3rd).
That said, I’d rather have any of these monstrosities (except Max) as long as I never had to endure a companion figure.

May 1st, 2014 - 10:22pmhope they do captin jake and river song and some compitions
The Werewolf
May 3rd, 2014 - 3:15pmhe’s called Jack, not Jake, although he’d still make a rubbish figurine, just like the other companions imo.
The Pixelated Dalek
March 29th, 2014 - 8:28pmI need paradigm daleks!!!
Doctor Rules
March 28th, 2014 - 7:19pmI want a wirrn so badly!
the astronaut of death
March 23rd, 2014 - 9:46pmBooboo when it gets to the end of the list will they renew it for more figures
The Werewolf
March 12th, 2014 - 12:43amI’m genuinely interested, why are so many of you so interested in Companions? I know some of them are great characters, but I think they would all be poor figures. This collection was made for the monsters.
Doctor of tardis 1974
March 23rd, 2014 - 9:44pmYa I think your right
thomas price
May 1st, 2014 - 10:25pmcompanions like captain jake and river song and maybe k9
The Werewolf
May 3rd, 2014 - 3:16pmagain, he’s not called Jake, but he isn’t a monster so not relevant anyway.
Anonymous
May 3rd, 2014 - 3:34pmIt’s not all about monsters, do we really consider Brannigan a “monster”? Or a Silurian for that matter? Or even Rassilon?
The Werewolf
May 3rd, 2014 - 8:29pmA Silurian is certainly a monster in that they are typical Doctor Who monsters in a way. They are not human, and have a typical “alien / monster” look to them, that makes them monsters.
Rassilon is also certainly a monster, though he looks humanlike in that he is monstrous in his behaviour so yes, he is certainly a monster.
The only one you’ve suggested that might not be is Brannigan, but he is an alien, so that sort of counts. On the other hand, I’m not pleased w/ his inclusion anyway, but at least he isn’t human.
To be continued…
The Werewolf
May 3rd, 2014 - 9:06pmShort answer: I do consider all 3 of those monsters.
If you’re not sure why I can elaborate.
Phil
September 16th, 2015 - 10:45pmPersonally, I think Jack (or Jake lol) is a monster. The character has been responsible for some terrible actions (see Children Of Earth) that qualifies him as a bad guy.
The Werewolf
September 16th, 2015 - 11:16pmTorchwood doesn’t count in here, and going solely off his appearances in Doctor Who, Jack is good only, his morally questionable/greyer aspects are removed.
Peter
February 26th, 2014 - 10:54amIf this list is right whys there no companions on it isn’t the companions a big part of doctor who as much the doctor is hope there are some to be added
Anonymous
February 28th, 2014 - 8:51pmThis was a very early draft of the line-up (and only part of it, the full list goes up to 80, but the last 9 weren’t included in the bit that went public).
Several changes have since been made, all that can be definitely guaranteed is the first 23 issues (and various changes have been made to the rest of the list, including the addition of some companions if the actors will agree to it).
The time meddler
March 10th, 2014 - 10:59pmI hope they don’t make the cat people from new earth not fan of those things
Doctor of tardis 1974
March 11th, 2014 - 10:28pmWe should have more classic
Doctor of tardis 1974
March 11th, 2014 - 10:29pmFace of boe would be good

February 22nd, 2014 - 12:45pmPlease can someone correct me if im wrong but I think ive spotted an error! Eaglemoss confirmed there was 80 figures planned (8 daleks,a few specials and 70 normal figures) but there is 71 normals here but i think its a mistake! 65 is Sutekh and 66 is the destroyer but 65 could be sutekh the destroyer (his full name/title and that would mean that auton would be 80
LordofWHO
February 22nd, 2014 - 12:56pmno the list is correct as there is a monster called the destroyer in the Sylvester McCoy story Battlefield. Also there is going to be 80 normal figures without the specials and daleks but they only released a list of 71 as they were still working on the other 9.
Anonymous
February 28th, 2014 - 8:52pmThe list WAS correct a long time ago, but many changes have been made. It gives you an idea of what they were planning, but it is inaccurate (and has also been confirmed to be incomplete as they have always planned for at least 80 issues).
Phil
September 16th, 2015 - 10:46pmI spoke to Eaglemoss yesterday. They said there will be 80 issues not including specials.
The Werewolf
September 16th, 2015 - 11:17pmWell, 80 is outdated too actually. Ben Robinson, the guy who runs the collection (and many others besides) said that it has been extended to 100 issues. (Not including specials).

January 18th, 2014 - 2:47pmI hope they make a ogrons go good with daleks

December 30th, 2013 - 4:09pmI just received Rassilon and Silent along with my first exclusive ‘Masterplan’ Dalek for the premium subscription, and it is a fantastic figure! I would highly recommend for anyone to upgrade for the exclusive Dalek figures. You get a mini booklet with them too all about that specific Dalek.

December 17th, 2013 - 12:50am(cont) Davros’s, Cybermen and Master’s. A couple of Daleks and Cybermen would do, 1 Davros (which we’ve already got) and maybe 2 (3 at a push) versions of the Master. Less of the timelords as well, Omega, Rassilon, Rani, Monk and a couple of other famous oes would do nicely. I still think they should go way past 80, 160-200 sounds more like it. If Marvel can do it, why not Doctor Who? After all they are both Eaglemoss.
nimons jelly babies
December 17th, 2013 - 12:47amI really think that they should focus more on the classic series, it seems to focus too much on the revived version and not only that but loads of Daleks and Cybermen as well. I understand that they are trying to show us the evolution of these 2 famous enemies, surely adding a lot more of the older enemies would be a lot better? I much prefer the classic stories and would like some more figurines of them. plus some companions. If they did one figurine for every enemy and companion, that alone would be 140 odd. There’s no need for so many Daleks

November 28th, 2013 - 10:06pmDoes anyone know if you can buy stands and binders on the website
KNs47
November 29th, 2013 - 6:05pmThe inside page of the accompanying magazine says you can buy binders on the website, but doesn’t mention stands. Although, I had a quick look in the ‘shop’ section of their website and couldn’t see any binders. Probably best to give them a ring.
The Surgeon
November 28th, 2013 - 4:36pmWho’s Kahler Mas? I’ve heard of Kahler Jex and Kahler Tek…
Doctor Rules
November 28th, 2013 - 5:59pmKahler Mas is the Gunslinger from a Town Called Mercy
Anonymous
November 28th, 2013 - 7:59pmIt’s supposed to be the Gunslinger (who is Kahler Tek). The lsit is filled with several mistakes and has had numerous things changed since.

November 28th, 2013 - 1:50pmNo doubt the line up and range of figures (+possibly vehicles and other oversized creatures) will change throughout the (definitely needs to be extended) run of issues.
This partwork may be one of the most lucative for Eaglemoss as long as Dr. Who stays on air – generating an increading number of fans.
Side note – as a ‘test subscriber’ I’ve now finally received my missing/back-ordered issues. Now just waiting on the subscriber gifts of course. So, no real change from DBFactory.

November 28th, 2013 - 8:32amJust noticed Eaglemoss took out the usual £15.98 from my bank and an additional £14.99! So We may get the TARDIS with the next issues next week!
Anonymous
November 28th, 2013 - 11:32amThat is their plan, send them all together in the one go. Possibly alongside the Emperor Dalek, but they have said it might get delayed to issues 10 and 11 due to its size.
KNs47
November 28th, 2013 - 1:28pmAt the Ex-Cel Eaglemoss DW Figurine stand last weekend they were saying that Emperor Dalek would be delivered in January.

November 28th, 2013 - 1:52pmSame here. But, having had problems with my subscription already, i’m going to keep an eye on this site to see how others are faring. Either things go without a hitch or when it goes wrong, it really goes wrong – repeatedly.
Fingers crossed.
booboo
November 28th, 2013 - 1:54pmi have had the same problem, just got my stand and binder today, all seems to stem from subscribing for the test issues, we have subscribed to star trek as well and not a hitch with those

November 27th, 2013 - 8:02pmThe ones that I am most excited about are:

November 27th, 2013 - 8:12pmThat’s assuming they do come out, only the Cyberman from Nightmare in Silver, The War Doctor and a Zygon (although the version itself hasn’t been 100% fixed) are definitely coming out.
