Idris from wave 1 left and wave 2 right. Although the wave 2 figure came with 5 cubes it is still marked wave 2a on the packaging, it has a more matt finish (especially the hair ) than wave one although this doesn’t show in the image.

August 9th, 2011 - 4:49pmI don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s the 11th Doctor prototype head (the one seen on the back of the eleven doctors set) stuck on the body of the Stetson Doctor.
They probably just needed a Doctor for the photo, and thought the season 5 Doctor figure outdated (and nothing else had been released at the time).
As of yet nothing has been released with that head sculpt, and it’s been around for quite a while now.
…but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they wont use it in the future.

So it could be a clear green figure but with a green light so it glows like in the episode also it could be on a clear stick so it looks like she’s floating

August 8th, 2011 - 7:19pmIn the episode the Gangers went between three different “stages” there was the plain white “puffy” face, then the veiny face that was the right shape but didn’t have the right colour and the one’s that look just like normal people. The figure is of the second stage and the mask makes it look liek the first.

August 8th, 2011 - 12:45pmMy guess is that it’s a copyright issue. ‘Stetson’ is actually a brand name, so Character wouldn’t be able to use the name ‘Stetson’ on the toy without getting permission or paying royalties. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stetson
So they just called it ‘cowboy hat’.
I don’t know this for sure of course, but it seems likely.

There have been some new doctor who figures on sale on ebay that seem to
be from wave 2. They all include a packet of flesh like in the flesh goo
pod and a flesh mask to place on the figures. These figures are
Astronaut with open up viser, Doctor in blue shirt and blue bow tie, A
ganger Doctor, A River Song similar to SDCC version but slightly
different and an Uncle and Idris with pyschic mail box. I was just
wondering if this is true and if it is when we should expect to see them.
