Recieved this morning and i have to say this but the paintwork is shoddy. And thats not counting counting cuts and marks. The quality of the products in silver i always have a problem with. Maybe its because its the first rushed out batch i don,t know.

Actually had someone pick one up from WHsmith on the way back from Leeds, wish I hadn,t asked them to bother now. Asked them to drop it back off before they go into work tomorrow. poor quality control yet again. Just get them out there and hope for the best.

Complain. If I’ve not been happy with something I’ve taken a photo and mentioned it and they’ve usually resolved it pretty quickly.

All the Drathros in Smiths today had major issues. I do not understand how something that should be a relatively simple paint job has such poor quality. Black marks, deformaties all sorts. A real shame.

Especially given its one special a lot of us anticipated and had high hopes for. The black lines around the upper arms and cuts were atrocious. Sort it out eaglemoss.

One could almost be frgiven for thinking that ‘classic’ who items are given a ‘second class citizen’ treatment…

I wonder if Eaglemoss would consider some sets? I would LOVE to see the Dalek Master Plan Delegates, you could do a Web Planet one, A Rill, Drahvin & Chumblie for Galaxy 4, An Aridian, Mire Beast, Dracula, Frankenstein & Fungoid for The Chase. A Morphoton Brain, Ice Soldier & Yarek for Keys of Marinus. An Uxarien Primitive, Priest, Guardian & IMC Robot from Colony in Space would be really cool too.

They are less likely to do some of those due to popularity and the wider market are less likely to buy dracula than a dalek

I would buy anything from the B&W era

There was a leaflet inside the Entombed Cyberman issue saying that this is “avaliable now” – yet everywhere else is saying March? Has this been brought forward?

I only purchase the figurines I want…and Drathro is certainly one of them. ‘The Mysterious Planet’ segment of ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’ is so underrated. It’s a very good story, and Colin Baker completely redefines his Sixth persona into a more likeable Doctor.

Especially with his relationship with peri and after all that dreadful dialogue poor colin had to shout his way through during his first season. Excruciating.

I like Colin from the first moment he leapt into the console room bursting his way out of Davisons outift…. the scene where he collapses into hysterics ranting about the grinding engines is absolutely superb and a welcome change from his nicey nicey predecessor….

Hope we’ll be getting the tank-like L1 robot as a special to go with Drathro soon too…..

Really looking forward to this one. Love my Hartnell figures though. Hoping for a Vaaga/Varga plant and Morphoton brain creature now.

I’d like to see some of the UGH members especially Malpha…but we definately have to have more from the Web Planet, a Morok soldier, a Drahvin and a chumbley to fill in the Hartnell gaps….

Awesome news down below from Neil that more figurines from Colin’s era are on the way fairly soon. From the list I’m guessing it’ll be Sil and the Valeyard… Hope the Borad isn’t too far behind and that they find a way to do the Stengos Dalek!

Probably between 146 & 149. The cover finished means it must be relatively soon, and it it definitely won’t be 150.

Some sound choices. Maybe a few from season 17 and 18 for me. I,d love the Android from ‘The Visitation’ and at some point a SE Kroll.

I’m going to jump in with suggestions for the following figures…

    Cleaner robot from Paradise Towers
    Sil from Vengeance on Varos/Mindwarp
    Tractator from Frontios
    The Malus from The Awakening
The Kandyman from The Happiness Patrol

Mainly the cleaner though as I’ve wanted one of those since I was a kid.

Paradise Towers cleaner – Richard Briers’ pet hallway robot?
or did you mean the yellow lobster that prowled around the rooftop pool?

They’d make an interesting twinpack or part of a boxset of robots – K9 , Kamelion, Autons, Clockwork droids, Raston robot, Quarks, Kandyman…

A monster worthy of its special status. What other specials could we look forward to? Hopefully no more unnecessarily outsized ones like the Kroton and Aggedor, both of which look awkward next to their regular sized companions on my shelf.

Absolutely. Colin isn’t being served as well as the other 80s Doctors. We need the Borad, Sil, the Valeyard, the Stengos Dalek at the very least. Drathro, meanwhile, is awesome.
