The Werewolf
December 11th, 2018 - 10:45pmHave you started selling them yet, or are you still throwing them away?
Doctor Mysterio
December 16th, 2018 - 10:49pmNot sure why you think there is so much value in these magazines without the figurines, so once read they get recycled. I am a collector and I have a lot of merchandise, a great collection going back many many years. Perhaps I’m just too fussy about things, I don’t know. But I don’t keep the cardboard boxes they are shipped in either. The cat likes a regular supply of these boxes to scratch and sleep in though, so everyone is happy!

December 18th, 2018 - 12:40pmWhy we think there is value in these magazines is because there clearly is! Check COMPLETED LISTINGS on eBay. Most normal issues sell for £5 and Specials and Extra issue magazines go for £8-£10. Money down the drain if they are going in the bin…

December 11th, 2018 - 11:23amI’m wondering if the variant cover shown here is an in-store (W.H.SMITH) exclusive and the online retailers have the standard cover.

December 11th, 2018 - 1:52pmFrom what I understand, if you buy it in the shops you will get the Variant Cover with Companions. Precisely because it’s an attempt to get in new customers & publicity for the figurine range. (ie) The colourful card fold-out with the figurine on the front & inside, information on the figurine range with the Variant Cover. If you buy it from Forbidden Planet or Eaglemoss direct it should be the standard edition. FP have the standard edition cover for sale online, I presume if they would be selling the Variant Cover it would have a separate listing.
The Werewolf
December 11th, 2018 - 8:03pmIt’s not exclusive to WHSmith, it’s at Tesco as well.
