Dr Who Figurine Collection #2 Davros

Doctor Who Figurine Collection #2 Davros

Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.

All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered.

The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.

Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.

I bought this today. On the right hand side of Davros’s head are two holes and another just above his nose. Disappointing.

Pros: they’re amazing and definitely worth the money so far.
Cons: not posesable and sometimes the paint may splodge.

Bought the Davros figurine today. Must say, it is very nicely detailed. Davros’s cheeks and eyes are a bit shiny though, making it look as if there is water on them. The control panel is nicely done and sculpted and the magazine has great info about UNIT to read! Very pleased! 9/10

they do cost a bit much

      September 14th, 2013 - 4:37pm

To be honest, they cost exactly the same as the 3.75″ figures and I’d rather buy the figurines, but not all of them, since it does take up until 2015 or 2016! 🙄

Yesterday I went to my local newsagent and they delivered four more Eleventh Doctors as well as three Davros Issues. I didn’t buy, but I’m planning to. It looks brilliant, but his eyes -not the blue one- are strange and shiny.

My copies of Issue 2 and 3 came today, but Davros is broken. Not happy at the moment, where do I complain to?

Hopefully all the complaints they’re recieving will prompt them to send the figurines out in better protected packaging. In the boxes, they’re just able to slide all over the place!

the one i bought today seems to have a very very slightly smaller base – i was expecting some sort of noticeable changes to the console colours as per the interview but its identical to the test issue one i had as far as i can see apart from the blue is slightly darker

ok, I was hoping it would be different, to make the test issue ones that little more unique
      Thanks booboo! 🙂
