Dotor Who Twelfth Doctor 8″ Figure (Cancelled)
Doctor Who Twelfth Doctor 8-Inch Action Figure
This item in now cancelled
The wait is over! The Twelfth Doctor has been revealed and Bif Bang Pow! is proud to introduce the Twelfth Doctor in an 8-inch scale EMCE action figure! Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor stands about 8-inches tall and features real fabric clothing, accessories, and multiple points of articulation. Ages 14 and up.
Produced by the BBC, Doctor Who is the longest-running sci-fi TV series in the world. The award-winning show presents the adventures of a time traveler known simply as “the Doctor.” Along with his companions, this mysterious Time Lord journeys through time and space using his TARDIS, which appears from the outside to be an ordinary police phone booth.
The Twelfth Doctor!

I was really excited to hear that Peter Capaldi has been chosen to be the 12th incarnation of Doctor Who! Of course, for us, the announcement immediately threw us into high gear! We are licensed to make Doctor Who action figures, and we want to be sure that fans can get their hands on their 12th Doctor action figures as soon as possible!
So what does this mean? As soon as we heard the announcement, we began making the sculpt for the action figure’s head. It takes a long time to create a sculpt that meets our standards. We also need to get it approved by the BBC and the actor himself.
Once we get a sculpt approved, we’ve got to wait…

December 7th, 2014 - 12:52pmWhy on earth did BBC America take away biff bag pow’s licence for doctor who ???
Blimey
February 4th, 2014 - 7:17pmHey – I’m new here, obviously. Does anyone known if the 5″ line is officially cancelled for sure? Will there be all new 5″ figures?
joe gould
July 21st, 2014 - 7:44pmWe assume it’s not completely cancelled.
Doctor of tardis 1974

August 31st, 2013 - 4:28amI wish they would hurry up & release the other 15 they have shown, instead of giving imaginary Pre-Order dates for a 12th. Doctor figure for 2014!

August 30th, 2013 - 10:34pmBooboo do you think you could do a poll to see what percentage of people would buy 5″ new series figures again. I’m just really interested!
booboo
August 31st, 2013 - 9:28amthere isn’t any point because i know what the result would be, but a few 1000 core collectors aren’t enough to keep the line going

January 1st, 2014 - 1:55ambut not all of them are collecters like me i buy them to play with them
MasterKasterborous
August 30th, 2013 - 6:24pmI can’t wait to find out what his costume is like for this and just in general. I’m sure Howard Burden will help make it look amazing; he did with Matt’s 7b costume!

August 30th, 2013 - 9:06pmi honestly LOVED david tennant suit

August 30th, 2013 - 6:23pmI wonder when we’ll see a release date for the Tenth Doctor, new Eleventh Doctor and mystery Doctor (John Hurt) from Biff Bang Pow? They did confirm they would release these figures in the same format.

August 30th, 2013 - 5:14pmGotta get my hands on this!
eddy
August 30th, 2013 - 4:23pmreally ages away though

August 30th, 2013 - 4:28pmWell it would need to be, nobody knows what his costume will be like (even Peter Capaldi doesn’t know yet) so they are going to have to wait for that decision to be made before they can finish it.
eddy
August 30th, 2013 - 4:32pmyh true, didnt think of that !

August 30th, 2013 - 4:47pmAlso..his hair…they may have to change that sculpt completely….he may have a beard….glasses…
Nothing like riding a wave of euphoria to make a quick buck…the whole thing is utter silliness…why would anyone order a product without seeing it first? Those pictures they have included may aswell be of the queen for what use they are.

August 27th, 2013 - 10:42amI so hope they resume the 5 inch figures, as the the 3.75 figures aren’t detailed at all and they don’t fit with our other figures.
Trenzalore1502
August 20th, 2013 - 12:17amAs much as I do like the 3.75″ figures I really hope that other companies are going to make new figures like the Capaldi one here but just in 5″. It would just be so much better!
Tim
August 19th, 2013 - 7:15pmWhere’s the goatee?
Trenzalore
August 19th, 2013 - 7:23pmLet’s just say it involves a shaving razor 😆 I don’t think he has it anymore
Sam Bentley
August 27th, 2013 - 10:55amHe looked like the Master with his goatee – VERY Master-ish. I hope he doesn’t have it in the show.
Thebritishcupoftea
August 30th, 2013 - 4:29pmi think he looked like Peter Cushing with the goatee
Connor
August 31st, 2013 - 4:08ami want him to haave the goatee and for his costume a Sherlock omes jumper and a vest with no tie or bow tie and for his shoes i wouuld want him to have boots and it would be cool if he had a belt to hold his sonic! and the colour of his suit a dark blue! whats you guys thoughts on my choices?
TheBritishCupOfTea
August 19th, 2013 - 3:59pmthey need to make a new 12 Doctor 5″ set with a NEW variant for each Doctor, including the 12th Doctor…maybe even a John Hurt figure. Smith could be in his purple coat, Tennant in the brown suit which we’ve been waiting for for years now.
DoctorWho2013
August 26th, 2013 - 1:29pmThey HAVE to make a Hurt Doctor and even more so a 12th Doctor in the 5″ scale…
Gavin
August 19th, 2013 - 12:24pmDamn, I do hope they do make a 5″ one.
This would be out of place among most collections.

August 19th, 2013 - 11:39amReally, already? It’s a bit soon.

August 19th, 2013 - 11:33amcool
dalek 105
August 19th, 2013 - 7:39ami think that in the 50th special the 10th doctors sonic screwdriver will merge into matt,s one and it will make a hybrid between david,s sonic and matt,s sonic and that will then in the christmas special will be hande over to peter capaldi
Joe
August 19th, 2013 - 9:20amGo idea but then they won’t have a screwdriver then
Mister
August 19th, 2013 - 12:10pmI think that River Song would have it, because the 10th Doctor’s Sonic lasted until the Eleventh Hour when it was exploded, so how does River Song have one almost identical to it?
dalek 105
August 19th, 2013 - 3:14pmhello joe
davids tardis could make him another one like in smith and jones at the end
dalek 105
August 19th, 2013 - 3:22pmhello mister
i think that the rivers sonic is the doctors sonic in the future like at the end of his life he gives river his sonic
dalek 105
August 19th, 2013 - 3:30pmoh and also mister i think that in the 45th doctors last episode (example) the doctors will for some reason find davids sonic on the ground and keep it as his sonic
AlexanderOP
August 18th, 2013 - 8:03pmEveryone’s debating about the new Costume, but what about the Sonic Screwdriver? I wonder how they will change it.
the astronaut of death
August 18th, 2013 - 8:18pmthey might not change it
but as much as I love the one we have now I think we should get a new one something more dark and mechanical
and I do not think they should change the tardis we have only had this tardis for a half of a series and I love the one we have
but if they did make a new screwdriver something more mechanical and dark
Matt Smithy
August 19th, 2013 - 8:15amcompletely agree astronaut, but I think they should wait for the NEXT Doctor like they did with Chris/David, as not every doctor needs a new one. Or at least I think they should change it a series or two in to his run. But yes, dark and mechanical.
Trenzalore1502
August 20th, 2013 - 12:36amOnly the 8th Doctor had his screwdriver, the same with the 2nd and 3rd
thedaleksdeath
August 21st, 2013 - 2:16pmActually your wrong, Pertwee also had Tom Baker’s Sonic Screwdriver for his last season.
Eiger
August 21st, 2013 - 3:39pmThe sonic screwdriver is so overused these days. It has become a magic wand that doesn’t even have a feather of a Phoenix in it to add some jazz to an ongoing sub plot. My vote goes for Twelve to have NO screwdriver.

August 18th, 2013 - 6:36pmGreat Capaldi sculpt! (As long as he doesn’t have a hair cut or something!)
Lauren
August 20th, 2013 - 4:44amWe don’t know yet what kind of look he will have! He could shave his head for all we know. I think it’s jumping the gun a bit.
PedroPete
August 18th, 2013 - 4:04pmWow! Is it life size?
Joke, I know it won’t be!
