Just got this set and I have to say there isn’t much of an improvement over the DVD, some scenes do look a small bit nicer, especially is episode 13 with the CGI effects
but honestly the only really different bar that is the Title Cards do look much better and don’t have those black pixelated outline that they normally have, That always bugs me on the DVDs, But I think this should be put to more of £14 as I will buy the rest at that price

The artwork looks fantastic, but why is the classic logo being used instead of the 2005 one?

I LOVE the new covers. Wasn’t going to re-but the DVDs for the covers but will for Blu-ray even if it’s just upscales as higher bi-rate and better codecs go a long way for SD content. (shame they are 24fps)

What about series 5, 6 and 7? Will they be released in Blu-Ray in the slimmer packaging as well?

I emailed them when the boxset was announced. They replied saying “there is no separate release scheduled just for the BD releases of Series 1 -4”.

When you emailed them there was none scheduled. That came out a bout 2 years ago.

BooBoo do you know if these 4 releases will be the standard case size they did in the 1-7 set or will the be the slightly bigger size cases that we’ve had for specials-8? (minus the 50th collection one)
