Doctor Who Peter Davison Doctor Collection Audio CD

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

Demon Records celebrates Peter Davison’s fresh-faced and energetic incarnation of the famous Time Lord, 45 years after he first appeared on BBC TV screens. Available as a deluxe CD box set, this 4-disc set presents Peter Davison narrating two classic Doctor Who Target Books by Terrance Dicks alongside bonus audio items.

Doctor Who: Kinda relates the Doctor’s unnerving encounter with the mind-possessing Mara whilst Doctor Who: Warriors of the Deep tells of future conflict between humanity and the Earth’s original reptilian masters, the Silurians and Sea Devils. Bonus features include Peter’s appearance at Longleat House in 1983, alongside Janet Fielding and John Nathan-Turner, and interview extracts from 30 Years, View from the Boundary and Graham Norton.

The CD Box set also includes a full colour booklet with cast, credits and tracklist information.

Accompanied by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop’s familiar Doctor Who theme, the Peter Davison Collection is a fitting tribute to the charming, witty and endearingly youthful Fifth Doctor.

Guessing we will be getting a Colin one also in the future (Attack and Varos…)?

Must admit, the Davison reading of the abridged Warriors I find awful. Tried listening to it again last year and gave up very quickly; it’s like he’s not even trying.

Nice to see another addition to this range. Curious what will be included and of course hoping that Colin is next with Slipback and Out of Darkness

      Agree Alan

Lovely range, and Colin has an abundance of riches, with Varos and Attack in the abridged form Re Pertwee edition. Not sure if 6 10 min episodes fit for slipback (one was 11 mins +) But I would dearly love the, out of Darkness Short stories,

Im very surprised they have not added a Target novel reading. Tom Did Brain of Morbius just over 3 hours. Imagine that cover at 12 x 12. (And Creature from the Pit)

What do we assume – the abridged audiobook readings of warriors of the deep and kinda? Can’t think of any others off the top of my head.

Got to be these! Won’t be bothering with this release as got them already on the “Tales from the TARDIS” compilations from a few years back.
