In celebration of the 20th anniversary of THE SARAH JANE ADVENTURES, Roundel Books is pleased to announce ADVENTURES ON BANNERMAN ROAD, a unique and intimate glimpse behind the scenes, featuring more than 350 never before seen images, and a pair of DVDs showcasing rarely-seen convention panels with the cast and crew!
The images were captured by SANDY KNIGHT, mum of TOMMY KNIGHT (Luke Smith), and chronicle the production of the first three series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, including the pilot episode Invasion of the Bane and the Comic Relief special.

20 YEARS IS VERY STRANGE I IMAGINE THE SHOW WOULD STILL BE ON IF WE HAD NOT LOST HER IT WAS DEFINITELY MY FAVOURITE SPIN OFF OUT OF THEM ALL IT WAS SO GOOD EVEN DAVID TENNANT AND MATT SMITH WANTED TO STAR IN THE ACTION

August 13th, 2026 - 6:24pmI spent six long weeks in hospital last year but, thankfully, had my ipad with me. In that six weeks I finally got round to watching The Sarah-Jane Adventures, and I had a whale of a time. Again, it was bittersweet seeing Liz, but what an enjoyable show that was ! Couple of the stories were a bit wobbly, but for the most part they were great fun. I could see how the show was so appealing to kids. The beautiful tributes to Liz on the CBBs website were so touching. Children saying how much they were going to miss her, and that it felt as though they had lost a friend. Hopefully, Brian and Sadie saw these comments, and they gave the family some comfort. What a magical gift Liz had.
