WORLD EXCLUSIVE: MILLIE GIBSON INTERVIEW
In a world-exclusive interview, Millie Gibson talks about playing new companion Ruby Sunday, what it’s like acting alongside Fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa, and how she discovered she’d secured the role:
“I went to get a spray tan for the NTAs [National Television Awards], and I was in the room waiting to dry off when I got this WhatsApp call, asking me to join the call with all my agents. I picked up the phone and they were like, ‘Are you good at keeping secrets?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ They said, ‘Are you really good at keeping secrets? Cos you’ve got it.”
Other highlights of the new issue include:
- From Cardiff with Love – in an another world exclusive, Doctor Who executive producers Phil Collinson, Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter are interviewed together for the first time and discuss the future of the series.

January 21st, 2023 - 2:42pmHas anyone been able to find the Special Edition 2023 Yearbook? It’s not appeared in W H Smith in areas in and around London and Essex where I’ve searched. Not even in Forbidden Planet. It’s out of stock according to Panini website, The Who Shop website and has even gone from e-bay!
Even on this website you can’t add a comment to the 2023 Yearbook page.
Was it ever on sale, I wonder?

January 21st, 2023 - 6:41pmAndy,
I picked mine up from Sainsbury’s but it was in stock just before Christmas.
Might be worth trying there or Tesco.
Unfortunately when the next ‘normal’ issue arrives some stores send them back along with any unsold ‘normal’ issues.

January 4th, 2023 - 2:28pmHow are the sales going with the £6.99 price, the distribution fiasco and no new TV episodes until November 2023 ?

January 5th, 2023 - 12:16pmI imagine sales will be much better now RTD is providing regular who updates via DWM again. The exclusive 14th Doctor comic will no doubt help too.

January 3rd, 2023 - 12:57pmHopefully it isn’t difficult for everyone to find.
Can’t wait to see the cliffhanger resolve though I reckon we already know how it will.
Funny how David’s Doctor now twice has a death/regeneration cliffhanger.
Or 3 times if you want to include POTD.
