Doctor Who Magazine Issue 450

Everything about Patrick is Doctory! He is peculiar without ever asking you to find him peculiar. All the elements were right.

I loved his costume.” PATRICK: “Well, you go along to the costumiers and they produce various things, and you say, ‘Ahh, that would be good…’”

Great double sided poster free with this issue 😀

I like the side of all 3 New Series incarnations of the Doctor, but I’m going to have the Daleks instead. I was hopeing if DWM would release the awesome cover of the various Daleks as a poster . . . . seems I was right 😀

    Cheers DWM 😉

(DOCTOR WHO DW) dont make sense, just keep it the same logo or take the DW out of it, after all, it’s (DOCTOR WHO) not (DOCTOR DW WHO) or (DOCTOR WHO DW), you might as well call it (DW DOCTOR WHO)

Well, I prefer when the DW is in the middle. It looks very wrong for it to be beside “Doctor Who”. I’d prefer if the left it just “Doctor Who” than “Doctor Who DW”. Or maybe put it back to “Doctor DW Who”!!

Ok cover. Should be gold as its 450! The new logo is ok. They need to update some thing of the matt smith era. David tennant’s 3rd series had a new theme tune. Maybe they can bring back his series 4 one. That was the best theme tune ever!

      July 23rd, 2012 - 6:19pm

I prefer Matt Smith’s theme tune to the Series 4 one.

Series 4 was just too upbeat, it wasn’t ominous atall.

I agree I hope they change the theme tune, add an extra layer to it, a layer of the dum-dum bom bee bee effect. Another improvement would be to have Matt Smith’s FACE in the title sequence which would be cool. 🙂 (PLEASE MOFFAT, I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS….)

I’m happy with this cover, I can tollerate Smith when he isn’t spurting catchphrases or acting like a four year old so this pose appeals to me, it commands respect and makes him look the dominating figure he ought to be.
I have read in the back page of Issue 449 that this issue is to be a bumper one meaning it will be larger, which I am glad off as I’m off on holiday the day it comes out which will give me something to read why I’m there I am sure.

    • Anonymous

      July 22nd, 2012 - 11:38am

Not necessarily, the title sequence has been using a silver version of that “blue” logo all the merchandise used for the past two years, it wouldn’t suprise me if they just have a new one for the merchandise.

Although the logo was changed for Series 3, so it wouldn’t suprise me if there was a similar change for 11-3.
