October 19th, 2019 - 2:01amJust realised that the neon tube logo used in the 80’s is all linked together obviously a subtle and insidious trap to promote togetherness and the terrible theory of inclusivity… (sorry, couldn’t resist.) What would ace think of the ridiculous logo rubbish! The hoodie is great and that’s the important thing.

October 18th, 2019 - 12:15pmI cannot believe that people are complaining about a logo still. This is the fourth logo of the new era. There were many logos in the classic era all of which were used across all merchandise at the time. This item is brilliant or should I say ACE! It’s a bit silly to dismiss it due to something so pointless as a logo. I’m sure however that for everyone who refuses to buy it someone else will gratefully snap it up.

October 18th, 2019 - 12:58pmCompletely agree! An official Ace jacket is something lots of fans, myself included, have wanted for a long time! Alright, so it’s not a jacket but this is perhaps the next best thing seeing as a bomber with all the badges would cost a bomb (pun intended) to produce! The logo is on the front and barely visible, I’ll bet-it’s silly not to buy it purely because of two words on the front which do not intrude on the Ace design, the main selling point of the jacket!

October 18th, 2019 - 3:05pmIt’s a tacky logo. Simple as that. Many people don’t appreciate the female chromosome symbol being hidden in the logo either, which is perfectly reasonable.
I don’t see why you’re moaning that people don’t like the logo. If multiple people all agree, then clearly there’s an issue at hand.
To many people, such as myself, it reduces the value of the item and saves us all some money.
It would be a bit like putting a logo sticker on the handle of a sonic screwdriver toy. It’s not necessary. Keep the logo on the label/packaging and be done with it.

But the most important question is… why does it even matter if there is a female symbol represented? What difference does it make to your life? Does it oppress you? How can it possibly offend you? It’s a symbol that represents half of the human race. It’s not a political symbol. It’s not a call to arms. It’s a logo for a British television show. Your argument can only lead to a conclusion of sexism. If you have no problem with women then a symbol can have no detrimental effect on you. Shame on you.

October 18th, 2019 - 5:12pmBy the way, its not a hidden symbol. A hidden representation would still have to look like the symbol. A circle with a line through it is not the same as the female symbol. According to android it means you’ve turned on a specific feature. Or it may be that they have hidden a highway code message in the logo! Right I’m of to start a new conspiracy theory…

Delighted to see that you’ve just jumped to accusing me of being sexist. For what it’s worth, I quite like Whittaker as the Doctor, it’s a new change for the show. I just don’t like that her entirely irrelevant gender is being pushed upon people.
People can be fans of the show and not like certain elements, you know. Let that be a lesson to you.
Again, I love Ace. I think she’s a fantastic companion, hence why I’d buy one of these and wear it with pride. It just happens to be a shame that THIS logo is emblazoned upon the product. It should be on the label, and no more.
