Available to order in the USA from www.entertainmentearth.com
Each set of two glasses features a 4-color collage of unique 50th anniversary silhouette head art of one of the 11 Doctors, and a new set of 2 will be introduced every month in 2013!
Produced by the BBC, Doctor Who is the longest-running sci-fi TV series in the world. The award-winning show presents the adventures of a time traveler known simply as “the Doctor.”
Along with his companions, this mysterious Time Lord journeys through time and space using his TARDIS, which appears from the outside to be an ordinary police phone booth.
Not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only.

November 3rd, 2012 - 6:06pmThese are gorgeous. I hope a more local website gets them in stock, because they’re way too expensive to post here to Ireland
Tony
November 3rd, 2012 - 2:45pmI like the idea. I think after each new Doctor’s regenerated they should add his glass to the set.

November 3rd, 2012 - 1:07pmThese gasses look amazing.

November 3rd, 2012 - 11:22amThey’ve used this 50th logo on the pyramids of mars set box.
Andrew
November 3rd, 2012 - 11:25amI like it, I think its perfect to show the history. Although I do think they should use the different vortexes inside the logo for each doctor?
booboo
November 3rd, 2012 - 11:53ami dont think its the 50th logo, just a new one that has to be used from now as its not the anniversary yet, so far i have see 2 logos that actually say 50th anniversary.
The TARDIS
November 3rd, 2012 - 5:01pmWhat are the anniversary logos?
The TARDIS
November 3rd, 2012 - 5:03pmOh, the swirly-wirly thing on the calendar and the monopoly. I hope that isn’t the official 50th Anniversary logo – it’s ugly…
Esterath
November 3rd, 2012 - 5:17pmThe so called ‘swirly wirly’ thing is the Time Tunnel from William Hartnell’s titles sequence. And it’s not ugly!
The Monitor
November 3rd, 2012 - 6:01pmI like the fragmented McGann logo, although I too had thought that would be the 50th Anniv logo, although obviously it does not refer to it at all.
The 40th anniv was very clever and simple, and avoided the need for a redesign.
I hope this new fragmented logo gets a decent life – 3 years or so. Hopefully the 50th anniv logo will be a 1 year modification of this ie going gold or something…
DavidH
November 3rd, 2012 - 6:24pmI’ve seen this logo on a few things. http://i1142.photobucket.com/albums/n606/paulgreaves1/newbooks.jpg The fact it has BBC on it might mean it’s the official one?
Andrew
November 3rd, 2012 - 11:15amLove them, no surprie that my fav is Pertwee, it wierd, Bakers has only romana on it, Pertwees has Jo, Master, sarah the lot. You would think Toms would have at least Davros?? or Sutekh?
Andrew
November 3rd, 2012 - 11:18amWhy are they not dishwasher friendly?? Is the artwork gonna be really weak, or is it the printing, as there will be many colours?
DavidH
November 3rd, 2012 - 6:01pmLots of novelty pint-glasses like this aren’t dishwasher-safe. I had a lovely Ireland Soccer pint glass – now it’s just a plain old pint glass because the pattern is completely gone because I didn’t listen :[
Trust me, if they say these aren’t to be put in the dishwasher, listen to them
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
November 3rd, 2012 - 11:03amlooks goood. i hope the 9th, 10th and 11th mugs have the modern logo. doubt it though. 🙁
booboo
November 3rd, 2012 - 11:15am9th and 10th will – they have to use this logo form now on, they have used it for the 11th on a book so i hope to it will all be the same
BlueBoxBoy

November 3rd, 2012 - 9:46amCool, but I’ll give it a miss.
Esterath
November 3rd, 2012 - 9:53amReally, why?
Mr Evil Fez
November 3rd, 2012 - 1:23pmYou have to buy all of them and the logo next to them should be the logo at that time.

November 3rd, 2012 - 9:46amI said to myself I would try buy everything CLASSIC doctor who next year that comes out but It’s going to be so hard.
The Monitor
November 3rd, 2012 - 5:57pmTotally agree there. It is not just the cost or the storage issues, but trying to find sellers out there stocking it.
doctor hugh
November 3rd, 2012 - 9:03ami think that it would be better if the eleven doctor’s face was on the glass with all the other incarnations inside it
Adam
November 3rd, 2012 - 9:28amI agree but they could also have one with all The 11 doctors on?
booboo
November 3rd, 2012 - 9:30amthere will be 12 sets so there might be yet

November 3rd, 2012 - 9:46ami dont agree, the classic doctors faces are just fine, plus think about the size of the glass and the size of the face on the side, if you were to put all the doctors inside it the faces would be quite small.
