Produced by the BBC, Doctor Who is the longest-running sci-fi TV series in the world. The award-winning show presents the adventures of a time traveler known simply as “the Doctor.”

Along with his companions, this mysterious Time Lord journeys through time and space using his TARDIS, which appears from the outside to be an ordinary police phone booth.

    1st dr, susan and dalek.
    5th dr, teegan and turlough.
2nd dr, yeti and the Brigadier (from that story).

They are available separate. Each month brings a new set of two. I’d rather buy them as a set but have had to order each individually.

I like it, I think its perfect to show the history. Although I do think they should use the different vortexes inside the logo for each doctor?

      November 3rd, 2012 - 11:53am

i dont think its the 50th logo, just a new one that has to be used from now as its not the anniversary yet, so far i have see 2 logos that actually say 50th anniversary.

Oh, the swirly-wirly thing on the calendar and the monopoly. I hope that isn’t the official 50th Anniversary logo – it’s ugly…

    • Esterath

The so called ‘swirly wirly’ thing is the Time Tunnel from William Hartnell’s titles sequence. And it’s not ugly!

I like the fragmented McGann logo, although I too had thought that would be the 50th Anniv logo, although obviously it does not refer to it at all.

The 40th anniv was very clever and simple, and avoided the need for a redesign.

I hope this new fragmented logo gets a decent life – 3 years or so. Hopefully the 50th anniv logo will be a 1 year modification of this ie going gold or something…

I’ve seen this logo on a few things. http://i1142.photobucket.com/albums/n606/paulgreaves1/newbooks.jpg The fact it has BBC on it might mean it’s the official one?

Lots of novelty pint-glasses like this aren’t dishwasher-safe. I had a lovely Ireland Soccer pint glass – now it’s just a plain old pint glass because the pattern is completely gone because I didn’t listen :[

Trust me, if they say these aren’t to be put in the dishwasher, listen to them

i dont agree, the classic doctors faces are just fine, plus think about the size of the glass and the size of the face on the side, if you were to put all the doctors inside it the faces would be quite small.
