if I’m perfectly honest, that figure IS NOT the Ice Warrior creature.

it doesn’t move like a man in the episode and as you mentioned, it had tendrils.

too be honest character options are getting quite sloppy these days. in 2010 they were getting more detail but now look at they’re creation of the ice warrior creature. most inaccurate figure this year. but the actual figures are good (still not as detailed) by the way getting the cybermen. I LOVE CYBERMEN (as you can see from my name 🙂 )

      May 23rd, 2013 - 4:03pm

they wouldn’t have done this deliberately, my guess is they only had drawings to work from and by the time the cgi was finalised the figure had been tooled and it was to late to change it

    Here they are

1 Dr (A town called mercy)(Head) (Note: horns not included with other figures)
2 Amy (The power of three) (1st half of body)
3 River (Angels take manhattan) (2nd half of body)
    4 Damaged 60s dalek (1st front leg)
    5 Gunslinger (2nd front leg)
    6 Snowman (1st back leg)
7 Clara (Journey to the centre of the tardis)(2nd back leg)
    8 Time zombie (tail)
9 Vashta (the name of the doctor) (1st horn)

      Strax = further base
Whispermen double pack (interchangeable Dr. Simeon head) =Support for glass
Clara ( JTTCOFT)and time zombie double pack = glass tube
Clara Dalek with chain = Dalek Priminister mutant creature to sit inside tube (could be bought for other purposes if you didn’t want to build the Priminister because iit comes with mutant)
      Riversong = top of tube
Metallic blue dalek with control panel that stands by Priminister
Metallic red dalek (same as above)

Interesting to note that they have reverted back to “The Doctor” on the packaging rather than indicating the number…I wonder if this has anything to do with the new John Hurt Doctor changing all the numbering…?

Also, what is the little statue in the photo with the Master…is tha from another set?

    • GallifreyRules

      May 20th, 2013 - 5:00pm

The cherub looks to be in scale with the 5″ figures – does that means the Angels Take Manhattan set will be 5″? The cherubs look far too big to go with the 3.75″ figures!

    • booboo

      May 20th, 2013 - 5:06pm

      no def 3.75″

    • Dalek The Supreme

      May 20th, 2013 - 7:17pm

Ive decided not to collect anymore, not because the new size because they look alright. Just because i don’t have the money to do it anymore. I still look forward to the announcements of things though. If i do get enough i may consider just the doctor, clara and tardis interior (when its out). Also as these are now 3.75″ it means you can do a crossover with the star trek sets and indiana jones and many more. Lets just hope the TARDIS playset is not all cardboard surrounding and has an opening door again!

One good thing about the new scale is that it means bigger characters can be made without them being ridiculously big e.g. Statue of Liberty Angel.

That’s still far too big at this scale. It doesn’t help that much on that sort of scale, it really just brings in more playsets and possibly vehicles.

I’d keep them out of the box. That way you can actually play with them, and even if you don’t like playing with them, it allows you to actually put them into poses when displaying them.

      1. They went out of business because retailers were losing interest, 2. Somewhere around the end of the month, and 3. 7 pounds for a figure, 10 pounds for a playset, and 13 pounds for the TARDIS.

Got a problem! I’ve just got £10 off my Mom and Dad because its my Brothers birthday today and they give us money on each others birthday just so we don’t feel left out so im gonna buy the Ice Warrior play set with that £10 and pre-order three figures with my own money but I don’t know which ones to get for definite. I was thinking Ice Warrior, Dalek and Cyberman but I’m not sure. I don’t want to pre order the Doctor and Clara because I want to make sure I get detailed faces so I’d rather see those in the shops with my own eyes. What shall I do

CO should produce a set called ‘The Impossible Girl’ which features:
    Oswin Oswald – Asylum Outfit
Clara Oswin Oswald – Miss Montague
Clara Oswald – Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS

And another set called ‘The Paternoster Row Gang’ which features:
Madame Vastra – The Name of The Doctor
    Jenny – Catsuit
    Starx – The Snowmen

I would be willing to pay £0 – £30 if they release these. We are sooooo in sync. LOL! These are really good outfits as well so I hope they do! Come on CO, we believe in you (for the first time in ages!)

I’d prefer to see Strax in his Sontaran armour so he can be used as another Sontaran, but either way we do need a Paternoster gang set!

    They should do a
Dalek asylum set with broken daleks with chains

Pure Dalek paradigm set (I can’t spell it lol!)

new cyberman set With 3 cyberman and Clara with anti cyber weapon

Strax, nashra (is that how you spell it?) and Jenny with two whisper men

Clara and doctor with a red crimson horror and mr sweet (parasite)

    What do you guys think?

If you see the Star Wars sets they have huge AT-AT’s etc that are in scale with the 3,75″ figures for about £100 so imagine what they could do with the Doctor Who Range. It would b absolutely amazing if they released an actual Dalek Asylum playset or a full size, scale submarine for the ice warrior. It’s possible

I’d think a Dalek Supreme/Dalek PM pack, Amy and Rory pack from TATM, and the Paternoster Gang would be great.
