Doctor Who 3.75-inch action figures (Series 7)

With the arrival of the all new 3.75″ Figures and Sets we thought we would open an page for site user pictures so you can show off your new purchases.
Please note we dont want images of the just the figures but rather groups or images with other figure ranges you might have.
I’m sure we would all like to see “In action” pictures with the play sets or star wars / star trek etc crossovers.

June 8th, 2013 - 9:25amIts just becoming ridiculous now. The prices on ebay for these rare figures is daft. Giving up looking for these ones aint got a chance if only 100 made. Well done CO!

June 8th, 2013 - 9:50amIf there were only 100 of each rare made, that would not even begin to cover countries where these figures will be sold. I would consider the news of there being only 100 rares being made misleading.
But if this is true then I think Character may have made one of the biggest mistakes they could have ever made.

could be 100 each just in the 1st batch
that’s a far to low final figure for people to be able to “chase” them

June 8th, 2013 - 12:36pmI really can’t work out what C.O. are up to with these “rare” figures, I could understand with the CB figures as they where in blind bags so you couldn’t see what you where getting and people bought more just to try to get the rares, where as these are visible through the packaging so I can’t see that sticking in the odd one or two rares in a case of figures is improving sales, plus some shops/dealers seem to be putting the rarer figures aside and to sell at inflated prices,it’s truly not fair on kids and collectors.

Well it’s really CO saying we have a set of figures (Not 6 as indicated) that you will never get a full set of. There is absolutely no way I am going to trawl through hundreds of shops to get the possibility of 1 figure if lucky, I’ve done that before and I’m not doing it again. I’ll just have to be happy with the standard set of 6 available…

June 8th, 2013 - 1:09amI woild.like to ask, Booboo, is the ice warrior a different plastic to the other figures? It feels like it is. The thing is I was just fiddleing with mine and tr paint on the eyes came clean off. I have heard about this problem on this very page. But I thought I may jist ask as would like to determine wether its.the plastic or the paint thats the problem.

June 8th, 2013 - 11:07amDon’t think i’ll be able to do that, the packagings pretty messed up now. I think its probably the plastic. I’ll probably replaint the figure a bit anyway, as some of the colour isn’t great.
On a different matter, the head on mine is very lose in places, is the ball peg stuck into the body? Because it feels like its the the bottom of the ball joint thats lose rather than the ball and the head themselves.

June 7th, 2013 - 7:43pmjust picked up a doctor and ice warrior at first when i look the doctor out of the paket and his head fell off in my hands i was incredibly dissapointed but theese little things are really growing on me ecspecially the doctor they are so small and loveable and the sonic screwdriver fits the 5 inch figures i say long live the little guys only faults are the price is wayyy to high for what they are and the ice warriors leg seems to be a bit wonkey but other then that they look awful at first then really grow on you im satisfyed

£6.99 may seem a lot to some but remember these figure are actually £5.60 remember the government get £1.40 of what you pay in vat
so £5.60 then retailers profit, Characters profit, The factory who makes them profit, shipping costs, packaging cost, sculpting costs, tooling costs and last but not least BBC licensing and rights costs.
It all adds up!
Things are not a straight froward as some people think

June 7th, 2013 - 6:53pm(i am formerly ‘olletsoc’ on this site) I got my Cyberman and Ice Warrior Skaldak in the post yesterday, and they are brilliant. I actually prefer this size as they don’t take up too much room on my shelf and the ice warrior looks nice next to my 3.75 inch Green Goblin figure from spiderman. The cyberman is my favourite out of the two because its more poseable. i dont think i will be getting the other figures (apart from maybe a dalek) because they look rubbish. but still, very impressed with the cyberman and ice warrior!

June 7th, 2013 - 5:13pmThere’s nothing ‘fun’ about figures that go on ebay for upwards of a £100, especially when they don’t even make it out of the stockroom onto the pegs, but go straight into the pocket of a shop manager or employee. If they’re so rare and fetching so much what chance does anyone have of finding them? Way to go if CO wants to put people collecting this scale – what’s the point if a collection is so hard to complete?

this wont happen in the multiples of small chains though – many have been found in toys r us, Fp and the BBC shop.

June 7th, 2013 - 11:29amI hope CO are taking this feedback on board. I know these figures are more for ‘playing’ and are not as detailed as the more collectible 5 inch range….but £7 is a lot of more to take from kids for sub standard quality….

At the end of the day if your figure has a genuine fault the shop is obliged to replace or refund it (that doesn’t include those who just “dont like the look of it”) you make that choice in-store before you buy!
If you order items on-line distance selling regs mean you can send them back within 7 days unopened in there original condition for a full refund for any reason.
many of these problems are in the minority, i have 4 ice warriors all fine.
My second full set was spot on, as were some figures received from Character.
