April 26th, 2013 - 5:32pmIm reminded of various breakfast cereal boxes in the sixties and seventies which had cut out ‘theatres’ in which you placed cardboard figures that were given free inside. Weetabix released a set based on our very own show. The thing is those were free and in those days we didn’t expect as much. Now we’re paying for the cardboard theatres.
I will say that new ice warrior figure is good. Dont reckon much of any of the others.

People are making to many comparisons with the 5″ as this is evidently aimed at a different and perhaps younger market

April 26th, 2013 - 7:15pmThe toy fair photo was a picture of The Doctor figure that was made when they were making the 3.75″ sculpts and was a place holder for the long coat version which obviously wasn’t ready. I f you look at the assortment picture, you can see the Doctor figure that is meant to be released is this one.

April 26th, 2013 - 5:13pmOh dear, dissapointed with the Doctor figure.
The bowtie isn’t a sculpt anymore, it’s just painted on.
The hair looks aweful, no detail and very little resemblance.
On the plus: the waistcoat is the wrong colour, but still looks allright, the sonic is finally a closed version, and the shoulder articulation doesn’t ruin the look of the shoulders.
But I’m still dissapointed 🙁

April 26th, 2013 - 5:11pmYou know what’s really stupid? The Ice warrior armour figure is fine but why is the Ice warrior without the Armour pink? It should be the same colour as the regular Ice warrior’s chin!

Either way the BBC would have had to approve this

April 26th, 2013 - 4:59pmthese look good playsets great not sure about the dr detail wise but the picture is a bit blurry and usually pictures dont do figures justice ill be buying them all anyway its my birth day on may the 4th so ill have money i can use to buy the tardis clara and the dr straight away and maybe some monsters and playsets is my mother lets me

They missed something obvious in the Tardis…
White windows and Interior Light.
Something I was hoping to see.

Dalek Sec? Really! I wasn’t expecting to see him! We recently saw him in Asylum of the Daleks but I hope he gets released too!
They all look promissing and Will surely buy them all!

April 26th, 2013 - 4:57pmWell, the characters aren’t as good as I was expecting, but they’re still alright. I’m surprised, happy, but kinda disappointed about Dalek sec being released. He does look like a great figure, but I was hoping more for a Dalek Drone or Strategist from Asylum of the Daleks. Still, I will probably get the figures. There’s just so many good things coming out this year and I don’t have alot of money.
