August 13th, 2018 - 12:32pmNothing special that you can’t get elsewhere is what I mean. Its got Doctor Who figures in and have some nice clocks but apart from that not bothered about the place. I personally think the products having the same product code is stupid as that’s why they told me they had 9 in stock. They didn’t have a clue that those 9 weren’t the new ones. They don’t make it the easiest to purchase from them. The uncertainty of when an item is going to arrive is appalling. I’ll just wait til the end of the week now. Not making anymore special trips for nothing again.

August 13th, 2018 - 10:51amChecked the Poole, Dorset store today – no new sets out only last years, there was a couple of Tom/K9/Leela sets and about 40 sets of 9th Dr/Rose all at full price, was told they had stock-take yesterday so the new ones may still be in their back warehouse (wouldn’t check, even though 3 staff were just chatting!)

August 13th, 2018 - 1:11pmI went there today as well. Total waste of time as usual! Had as you say, about 40 9th/Rose & a couple of Tom/K9 & Cybermen. I went through the whole lot just in case they had mixed any of the new one’s in. No chance! Asked some girl on the checkout who said they were awaiting stock. I’ll head to ebay in a couple of months & try to get them there. Can’t really be bothered otherwise!

Was told the other day the Uddingston Home Store was getting 14 of the sets today and I was to phone. The number given to me was a dud, arrived at the store to be told by first colleague that there were none on order and by a second that the person who said there was 14 lied and they’ve got no intentions of getting them in because their 9th doctor set didn’t sell. I’m hearing a lot of staff in Scottish stores saying they aren’t getting them in because of 9th doctors being unsold.
It’s just a nightmare up here too.

August 13th, 2018 - 10:36amI’m sure the decision makers of B&M would not have commissioned more sets if they weren’t selling well.
Then again each area is different and if your area hasn’t got a big audience for doctor who figures then they may skip these I suppose. Still think every store should have at least a small allocation though if nothing else.

I checked with form DWM editor Clayton Hickman on Twitter who is an expert of the Tardiss’ & with Tony Farrell, he advised the BBC on the design of the 1st Doctors Tardis for Twice Upon a Time.
Still no Tardis sets near me or any other 🙁

The weathered effect really sets it off and the blue isn’t as bright as the official image either, which may be good or bad for some people but I think it’s the best TARDIS released by CO to date.

August 13th, 2018 - 8:23amAs of 8am 13th Aug. For those based in Essex areas Chelmsford only have the 9th Doctor, Colchester has none, they are not sure if their getting them. Smaller stores have no plans to get them. Looking rather sparse for the region.
