August 12th, 2018 - 4:31pmI’ve just been to the 2 Medway in Kent stores, Chatham had nothing but Strood had all 3 sets, but only one of the 12th Dr which I picked up. There’s still 2 of each of the 4th and 11th Dr sets left. It looks like they’ve only had one box of 6 (3 of each set).
No 3rd Dr & Tardis sets at all.

I got fed up traipsing all around 4 different B&M Stores in Glasgow for the 1970s dr who figure set and as a last resort bought and paid for a set off an ebay seller. Anyhow if anyone is living in Scotland or in the Glasgow area, the 3 B&M Stores that I popped in to check and I spoke to some of the staff who said that they MIGHT (pardon use of capitals as this is not definite & possibly speculative) the stores in Glasgow which might be worth checking this week are the B&M Store in Hamilton Retail Park, The staff at the B&M in Darnley store also mentioned that they MIGHT be getting the collector sets in, and finally the B&M Store MIGHT be worth checking is up in East Kilbride. All I will say folks good luck but Please PHONE each of these stores FIRST to check and having a wasted journey!. Good Luck Kind Regards Tom 🙂

August 12th, 2018 - 3:58pmI live around 40 minutes away from Glasgow. I have looked in my local stores today and they weren’t there. I’m assuming they will probably be in stores tomorrow or Tuesday. I would find it weird if stores in Scotland didn’t get any.

August 12th, 2018 - 3:51pmControversial opinion, but I really don’t see the problem with these “scalpers”.
While I understand that it can seem unfair to arrive at a store and they be out of sets, remember that because BM don’t deliver, for many the only way to get a set is online from someone who went in person. When you consider the price to get to a store (petrol or public transport) and a little profit for the effort, is it reallly that bad?

August 12th, 2018 - 3:58pmI don’t agree with it because it makes things hard for the genuine collector , but i have said elsewhere sell something free post on ebay for £30 as some did you could end up with as little as £20 back so making £3
People who don’t sell on ebay don’t realise how much it costs to do it
B&M business model is to get people in-store, you might buy other things whilst they are there, that’s why they don’t sell anything online really.

August 12th, 2018 - 4:36pmI’m going to pop in there tomorrow as I live in Gravesend, but I’m not holding my breath as they’ve still got dozens of the 9th and 4th Dr sets from last year.
I just got the 12th Dr set from Strood, there was only 1 but there should still be 2 of the 4th and 11th sets left. No 3rd dr and Tardis though.

They were high up on a feature shelf near the entrance. So have a good look around the store (or ask a member if staff) before giving up too easy! Good luck all in finding your sets!
