July 30th, 2013 - 9:41pmThis contains some of my favourite Doctor Who CB figures so far. For me, Doctors 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 10 top their previous models. I especially like CB digging deep to use the Realtime look for Colin Baker.
While I hope his CB line thrives during the 50th Anniversary and beyond, I wonder whether there is more life in delving into the classic era and delivering great classic companions and monsters.

To celebrate the anniversary of Doctor Who, bring new life to missing classic stories! Classic CB sets based on missing Doctor Who episodes. Box could include CD of the story, as well as a pictur booklet and set based on the story. “ReBuild to recreate” … What do people think? Set based on Yeti in the underground? Power of the Daleks? maybe all monochrome bricks??
I think it would be a great way to bring to life missing eps.

November 24th, 2013 - 7:50pmI had that same idea. They could have a YouTube thing too. Provide people with a soundtrack, any small clips or stills as a guide and the titles sequence, along with ‘TARDIS team’ packs, Episode figure sets, TARDIS console room sets and episode sets. The sets could be transformable, so the same pieces could make for example, The Sewers, outside St. Paul’s cathedral and Tobias Vaughn’s offices!

I went to FP and asked to buy the three figures which were on display, so she gave me them then told me if I waited two minutes she’d have to put three more on display, so I waited and the next three were different so I got them, so she then pointed out that she needed three more to go on display. She kept doing it until in the end I ended up with them all but one in one go! I think it made their day, they got so excited (the people working there), they were amazing, I love that shop!!!
