Stocks Arrive – B&M 2019 Sets Product Codes, Prices and Information

Stocks have now arrived in many stores

B&M have now added the sets to their website at www.bmstores.co.uk

We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.

Its that time again and this year there is probably more interest in these sets than ever before because of the inclusion of 2 brand new head sculpts, previously elusive figures, the 5th Doctors Tardis and a new line of Big Finish Doctor and Dalek sets.

Make no mistake this is a fine assortment of products considering the price points.

There should however be plenty of stock and the inevitable popularity of these sets over previous years appears to have been allowed for this time around.

The Tardis Sets have the same code as all the previous sets therefore the system cannot distinguish between them. If you require a specific set then it will need to be visually confirmed.

The 3 Figure Sets
all have new and individual product codes making stock inquiries much easier.

The Big finish Doctor Dalek Sets all have one code. If you require a specific set then it will need to be visually confirmed.

The Sonic Screwdrivers all have one code and are in the new Blue/Silver style guide.

For the most part people in the past have been extremely helpful in posting where sets have been found however we strongly recommend you check availability yourself before traveling.

The Product codes are as follows…

  • The 4th and 5th Doctor Tardis sets Product code 337412 £19.99.

  • The Second Doctor Figure Set product code 347790 £19.99
  • The Sontaran Figure Set (inc Harry) product code 347791 £19.99
  • The Seventh Doctor Figure Set product code 347792 £19.99

  • Big Finish Doctor and Dalek Sets product code 347793 £19.99

  • 10th, 11th and War Doctors Sonic screwdrivers product code 348589 £9.99

  • All Previous 3 Figure Sets Product code 294255 Price Variable

Still no tardises in the Rotherham retail park b&m asked a staff member she said she didn’t know when they would come in but they get a delivery of stock 6 times a week. Looks like more visits to b&m for me.

As if we’ll potentially have to be checking for tardises til October!!! Surely they must be getting them in soon. If I see anything i’ll Keep you posted as it seems me and you are the only Rotherham based searchers

York Clifton Moor had 8 Silver Nemesis sets, the new Sonics and about x6 13th dolls.

York Foss Islands had about 5 of the Two Doctors sets and a couple of Missy and Talon 4th Doc sets along with the new Sonics.

Sadly no Harry sets or TARDIS’ at either Store

Went to Sheffield yesterday evening to purchase the Silver Nemesis set and was shocked to see there were barely more than a couple left. Maybe the ‘pegwarmer’ tag is a little premature and it may be that there are regional differences in demand. Certainly in South Yorkshire it seems to be the Sontaran set that’s gathering the most dust……oh yeah, and the endless boxes of Jodie Whitakers incarnation!

the Silver Nemesis sets were the first to arrive and have probably been restocked quicker giving a bit of a false impression, it will be the slower moving set though

All of the 3 packs are in stock in Colchester. They’re on the end of an aisle at the back of the store and not in the main toy section. There was one 7th Doctor and Dalek set in the main section with the new Sonic screwdrivers. Still no sign of the TARDIS sets! No new stock in Chelmsford this morning but they may be on a delivery later today.

    • Jon

      August 28th, 2019 - 10:01am

Yeah it is rather frustrating. I’m not sure why the Tardis sets are so hard to come by considering stock of all other packs seems to be plentiful. I hope there are lots more to come and they don’t fly off the shelves. I am beginning to loose faith I will be in a B&M at the right time to have the opportunity to buy them. The last two Tardis sets were no issue finding for me. Strange considering we are told there are 10,000 this time, well where are they all?

    • booboo

      August 28th, 2019 - 10:08am

There are only 4 to box as apposed to 6 (each) of the Dalek sets and 12 (individual) figure sets and they take up more shelf space so there will either be more in the stock room waiting to go out or if sold out wait for new stocks.

    • Jon

      August 28th, 2019 - 10:13am

Yeah, that makes sense, they certainly do take up a lot more space. I think it is just difficult to get your timing right. Because so few go out at any one time it’s easy to keep missing them. I think I am going to end up spending more on petrol at this rate than on the sets. It really is becoming tedious keep going to B&M every day.

    • booboo

      August 28th, 2019 - 10:18am

many stores are reserving stock if they have it, also get them to check stock room if you can.

I will give that a try, thanks booboo 🙂

      August 28th, 2019 - 11:43am

I was in the Gravesend branch yesterday and managed to find the last of the Dalek sets I needed to complete my collection of this years sets. They had just put out a box of silver nemesis sets and still had the sonics but that’s all.

I took the last Dalek sets off the shelves only to suddenly have this bloke standing next to me saying “oh you’ve got the last ones, I’ve been buying them all and getting fifty quid each on eBay!” He said he wasn’t even a fan of the show so just out to make money.

This is happening every time now especially with the Tardis sets, maybe for say the first week after they hit the shelves B&M should limit them to one or two per customer?

    • Jon

      August 28th, 2019 - 1:03pm

Also Booboo, is it likely my local store will restock the TARDIS sets? The last 5th Doctor one was broken so decided to wait and see if I can get a fresh one. 🙂

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that Silver Nemesis is this years pegwarmer award winner destined to survive the apocalypse along with the cockroaches and the 9th Doctor and Morlock Rose set.

      August 28th, 2019 - 8:21am

Including the 7th Doctor (when also included in a dalek set) I think was a mistake. If they had gone for Ace (with a simplified t-shirt paint app and no jacket if need be) then it would likely be selling much better.

Just got back home after an evening out. Went via 2 stores. 6pm this evening, Skelton in North Yorkshire had 2 x Caves Tardis, 1 x Shada Tardis, 1 x 8th Doctor and 1 x War Doctor. They are on an end half way down the toy aisle. Nothing at Guisborough except last year’s triple packs.

Chepstow still had three 5th Doc + Tardis, one Shada set and stacks of 7th Doc sets at around 5pm today. 7th Doc were alongside a couple of rows of the old three packs and behind a big “reduced to £12” label, staff were happy to sell it for the price on the shelf when I asked – so thanks to others who gave me that tip!

I’m starting to get really frustrated with all of these sets. I’ve been to so many B&M’s in the last few days including 4 today and they all say the same thing that someone came in and bought all the TARDIS sets at once. Why do people have to do this? People are just so greedy

    • Voldermort

      August 27th, 2019 - 10:17pm

      I know how you feel

But as long as they sell on Ebay, this will be the case especially given these sets are so good. Its a curse and a blessing that this years sets are B&M’s best. If they do further ‘new’ figure sculpts next year, they’ll be the exact same scenrio. There are Ebay sellers who have more than 40 TARDIS and Doctor sets and have sold 3/4 of them making £10 profit on each one. If they sell 40, that is nigh on £400 quid profit, so as annoying as it is you can see why they do it and they’ll be on the look out for more, but its quite frankly greedy. But that is a typical human trait.

    • booboo

      August 28th, 2019 - 8:09am

its actually a large on-line retailer who has 40 Tardis, they bought them from around Walsall, some others do this for a living the fact its got Doctor Who on it makes no difference, others buy multiples for costumes, many collectors buy 2, one to keep boxed and one to display.

I have just counted on ebay around 130 either sold or still for sale (inducing sellers with multiples) 5th Doctor Tardis sets, that’s out of 5000

    • Mrs Davros

      August 28th, 2019 - 10:06am

It’s about time B and M put labels on the boxes stating one per customer. So anyone could buy one of each set, but no more in one visit. I too am getting fed up with someone purchasing all the Tardis sets as soon as they are in stock!

    • booboo

      August 28th, 2019 - 10:11am

That’s the only way of doing it, or make them available online, but at the same time either of those could actually kill the line off as far as B&M are concerned.

    • Bobby Davros

      August 28th, 2019 - 11:30am

Kinda doubt low paid/hard pressed shop staff should be expected to deal with confrontation and hostility from customers with potential obsessive compulsive issues if they have to enforce such an edict. They probably just turn a blind eye to avoid the hassle.

      August 28th, 2019 - 11:52am

      August 28th, 2019 - 4:39pm

My dad suggested to me that I write a letter of complaint to the chief exec of BM to make him aware of stocks being bought and sold for profit. I said there was no point because the BM business model is all about getting people into their stores, collectors or otherwise, and as Booboo said, if the figures don’t mass sell, then they won’t make anymore and the line will die. You’ve either gotta just keep searching; buy online; or be patient and wait for restocks.
