History of the Daleks Set #21 Eve of The Daleks Product Code 426899 Price £21.99

B&M no longer sell online. As a last resort you can search for this set on www.ebay.co.uk. You can also try forums and facebook groups.

History of the Daleks #21 Collector Figure Set (08389)

This awesome collection figure set with a limited-edition seal on the packaging, includes 2 Executioner Daleks as seen in the 2022 episode, Eve of the Daleks.

Eve of the Daleks explores the struggle The Thirteenth Doctor, Yaz, Dan, Nick and Sarah are faced with when they are caught in a Time-Loop created by the TARDIS, and forced to face the Daleks over and over, as time runs out!

Set in Manchester and shot during the Covid pandemic, Eve of the Daleks was the final story of the year and saw the Daleks were refurbished yet again but this time they had something of an upgrade. Although they retained the claw arms of the previous story, the ‘Executioner Squad’ Daleks, were given Gatling gun style rapid fire exterminator arms. The livery of the props was also updated with a darker more chocolatey livery that really offset the light gold of the skirt hemispheres and slats in a stunning way.

As there’s supposed to be these two sets plus two in September will that be all from B & M for this year or will there be any January time 2026 as there was only four sets 2024/25 ?
For those hunting the sets there’s none in Worthing as of Sunday (17th)

Hi Everyone I got the Daleks at Northumberland Park, they just got them in today, but sadly no TARDIS. But plenty of Daleks in this time round. I can’t provide photos as my phone is old as the hills just a basic ring and text. Ave also been round my 2 local stores St James Retail Park Newcastle, and Kingston Park Newcastle, nothing in those. But my mission is done I found the Daleks at Northumberland Park. Just if you want to add the Daleks as seen in the Northumberland Retail Park. They have plenty of the Dalek Sets that was at 1pm this afternoon.

Given that character have sculpted a new claw attachment for these daleks, and given they probably want to maximise its usage, it does make me wonder whether we might get a dalek 2 pack of revolution of the daleks. I think a death squad dalek and a defence drone 2 pack would be great, probably an online exclusive though. We can dream.

I’m pretty sure the claw isn’t new. It’s from the reconnaissance dalek figure.

The claw is new, the recon Dalek claw arm was a lot smaller.

I Dont Think it really Matters Nicholas H. I know it seems really Important Now, but in a Few Years Time I honestly don’t think anyone will remember that the B&M History of The Dalek Set #21 came out a Few weeks before Set #20.

On a more serious note, they have released HOTD sets out of order before, and it was to avoid having two very similar sets released consecutively.

So without knowing what set 20 is going to be, it could just be that it’s very similar to set 19, given that we’ve got a lot of slight variations of the same basic Dalek throughout the Nu-Who era.

Joking Apart though, but what ever Happened to the Dalek Paradigm in this Budget Line.
Have I missed Somehing? Werent they in the Matt Smith Era and we’re now on the Jodie Whittaker Era? I’ve never seen anything Mentioned, like CO are not Re-Releasing them.
I really liked those Style of Daleks though. (One of the Few People that did by the Sounds of it too).

      August 13th, 2025 - 2:18pm

@The DR. They’re just doing that thing where they skip some and then come back later. Probably CO had the moulds ready for the Executioner Daleks and so wanted to release them first as that’d be considered more interesting as a new item than a simple re-release of an old item. If they did it in order they’d be hanging onto those moulds for about 3-4 years. Might as well skip and go straight to it and then come back for the re-releases later on.

    • The DR.

      August 13th, 2025 - 2:37pm

FH, so they still might be Coming, that’s Excellent. Was thinking with them being bigger Moulds they might be more Expensive to Produce and not Viable for the B&M Budget Line
I hadn’t heard anything though from Al or CO that they wouldn’t be Re-Releasing Them?

Yes it’s a 3 pack of a leader with 2 drones and a cybermat. Improved detailing on the chest units and made to look more metallic looking.

    I have a question re. the Eaglemoss figures;

I’ve found a Resurrection Dalek Eaglemoss figure for sale – the cardboard box isn’t the usual dark blue, and strangely cannot find a ID number for the model in Eaglemoss’ list on the TardisWiki site.

Nearest I can find is the ‘Death Zone Dalek’, but not only does that Dalek look different, it has a normal dark blue coloured box.

I’m just wondering if the Resurrection Dalek figure is some kind of special one-off, or is it otherwise a very new figure that hasn’t yet been given an entry number?

Pretty sure the Daleks in the episode were the normal bronze ones in colour it was just the lighting of the storage facility that gave the impression of them being of a darker colour.

The same goes for the ones in Revolution of the Daleks.

    Hi,

They kept these ones quiet ave not been too well for the last week. But now that I know there’s more Dalek sets out I will check some of my local stores in my area tomorrow always like to do my bit and help my feather Whovians out to track them down. So as the 7th Doctor would say so what are we doing? Dalek Hunting. And but why is this set history of the Daleks #21? and not #20? as the last set was #19!.

Again am not too bothered about the TARDIS but I will mention it if I see them. But just remember these are only if they have been spotted in any of the stores I can’t unfortunately give any photo evidence as my phone is as old as the hills but am.always true to my word if I have spotted anything.

I will keep an eye out for them. They really early this year I wasn’t expecting anything until at least September for the first wave than October or November for the next.

But it’s 21 and the 15th Doctor’s TARDIS that’s out there somewhere now I gather so I will check some my local stores tomorrow.

I know B&M will not mind as long as they sell them but surely they would give that person a strong ‘you’re going to just sell these online for 3 times as much’ look when they brought an entire box full.

Been said many times staff have enough to deal with without policing customers buying habits and the abuse that they could have to deal with if they tried to enforce

    • The DR.

      August 11th, 2025 - 9:16pm

Abit off Topic but Connected. My Local Small Co-op about a Year ago the Staff all Started Wearing Tiny Cameras that were harnest to their Chests.
I curiously asked why have you started wearing those Cameras.
It turns out they have Thefts from the Store every single Day. Addicts and Alcoholics often frequent the Store and the Staff have Been Threatened with Violence and even had Knifes pulled on them.
One Really Nice Guy that works there that I usually talk to says a Stock Take is due soon and he said he’s Dreading doing it as hes a Good idea of the Amount of stuff that’s been stolen since the Last Stock Take. (And he says its Horrendous).
So in response to Andy R, i understand the Staff not wanting to get involved.

      August 11th, 2025 - 9:30pm

Oh forgot to mention, you’ve probably seen Those Tamper Proof Clear hard Plastic Cases in shops were they put Blu-ray’s, DVDs and CDs inside to stop Thefts.
Then you take them to the Counter to be Released when you Buy.
Our Local Co-op uses them but inside of them Are Small Chocolate Bars, Bags of Crisps, Coffee Tea, Milk, Serial bars, Sweets etc.
