Stocks Arrive – B&M 2021 September Sets Information on Product Codes / Barcodes

Stocks have now arrived and are starting to appear in stores.

We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.

At the time of writing option 3 on published store telephone numbers that allowed you to speak to a member of staff has been removed. You could try the main customer service number, 0330 838 9000 and ask to be put through to your local store or try and find out its direct number.

Shown below are the product codes and bar codes. The app is not allowing you check locations at this time.

We strongly advise you make whatever checks you can yourself to check store availability before traveling.

To find your nearest store visit www.bmstores.co.uk or use the map below. Please contact www.bmstores.co.uk if you require more information.

The B&M Map:

This map is a guide only and shouldn’t be used as a definite indication that a particular store has stock

The map shows most stores, if you see any missing please leave a comment. As the app will not allow you to check stock locations at the moment we may use this map to show the distribution pattern and possible stock locations.

If you see stock and take a picture you can send it to [email protected] and we can add it to the map or you can link to an image you are hosting yourself.

This map has layers, if you click on the icon in the blue header at the top left of the map in the you can select which layers you want to see.

A Dalek will be placed to the right of the store concerned but you will need to zoom in to separate the 2 or click off the store location layer.

Please note as the situation on the shop floor is so fluid we will no longer list stock on the map. As far as we can tell the initial delivery for stores that have had stock was for 12 of each figure set and 6 of each Dalek. As you might expect most stores are selling out of Daleks at a faster rate than the sets. Some stores listed have already sold out of all stock

For anyone in the Stoke on Trent area. The distribution centre only had enough to supply the Crewe store and isn’t going to replenish stock until October. I was told this by the manager in the wolstanton store and the Trent vale store although they are down for allocations themselves. The Crewe store was also ravaged by a scalper on Thursday who bought up all the remaining sets as he’s a regular for most toy stock in that respect and they get rather tired of seeing him. All info came from staff members in the respective stores as I’ve traveled to each location in the area multiple times over the last 3 days. Hope this helps some people.

I really find this to be torturous… every time a new set is released “exclusively” to B&M it’s the same nonsense, and in the present climate, with COVID still with us, I find it even worse and more stressful…

I don’t believe that any members of the general public are buying these classic sets, it’s just us hardcore fans… So why, oh why don’t Character Options release these sets directly for online sale? That way we would avoid this farcical pantomime, it would be a lot fairer, they would still sell the same number of sets, and only the E Bay pirates would be the poorer for it…

B&M commission these and Character sell to retailers for the most part and its Guaranteed business, little risk, they probably also get substantial sales for non Doctor Who products of the back of it.

Its business and if works for both parties best not meddle with it.

Alydon2007 – I am. with you there. Its the same run around every time. The same trying to beat the staplers who buy up all the stock in one go. The same asking store staff non specific questions and getting something they have just made up in the head in order to ‘help’ the customer. It takes some of the fun out of buying new Doctor Who figures. It should be a joy not this situation. And there’s overseas sales…or complete lack of it. There are Doctor Who fans across the world who would buy these so why limit it to just one country as we have these figures? Surely sales would be higher if they made more and sold more – the cost of new moulds for example would then be spread out over the sale of more stock.
As I am not the business manager for either company involved I am only giving my experience and opinion as a customer. I am sure they have it all figured out. However these are great products (they are not shoddy tat just made to make a quick buck) and therefore why not sell to the largest market possible and have that investment in this line make more money for both companies? Questions, questions, questions.

Demand across the world clearly wasn’t there if the importers dont want them now as seems the case and its looks like CO are stuck with hundreds sets that were destined for the USA no doubt tying up considerable capital.

Seriously you wouldn’t even have these figures if it weren’t for B&M commitment these last few years. If it aint broke don’t try to fix it.

Only a couple of each Dalek set, but a few Marinus sets in South Shields as of 11:15 today. No sign of Sensorites set yet, member of staff thinks they may be in the back warehouse, not put out yet. Might try for that later today or tomorrow.

So far nothing in Tolworth as of this morning either.

Someone on Gallifrey Base’s ‘Toys Found’ thread mentioned picking up the sets in Old Kent Road yesterday (Friday 10th) but that there weren’t that many left by that point -and then someone else posted about having been in there later and by that point, all gone.

as far as know there are the same amount of each code and as the Daleks have the same code there will only be half the amount compared to the 3 figure sets that’s why they sell out quicker

I can confirm nothing in Poole Tower Park at 8.30 this morning. Bournemouth Castlepoint had 12 of both Marinus/Sensorite Sets at 8.45 this morning as well. I can also confirm Scalpers are operating at the Bournemouth Castlepoint store having seen someone walk out with the last(?) 6 Dalek Sets on Friday 10/9/21.
