Stocks Arrive – B&M 2021 September Sets Information on Product Codes / Barcodes

Stocks have now arrived and are starting to appear in stores.

We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.

At the time of writing option 3 on published store telephone numbers that allowed you to speak to a member of staff has been removed. You could try the main customer service number, 0330 838 9000 and ask to be put through to your local store or try and find out its direct number.

Shown below are the product codes and bar codes. The app is not allowing you check locations at this time.

We strongly advise you make whatever checks you can yourself to check store availability before traveling.

To find your nearest store visit www.bmstores.co.uk or use the map below. Please contact www.bmstores.co.uk if you require more information.

The B&M Map:

This map is a guide only and shouldn’t be used as a definite indication that a particular store has stock

The map shows most stores, if you see any missing please leave a comment. As the app will not allow you to check stock locations at the moment we may use this map to show the distribution pattern and possible stock locations.

If you see stock and take a picture you can send it to [email protected] and we can add it to the map or you can link to an image you are hosting yourself.

This map has layers, if you click on the icon in the blue header at the top left of the map in the you can select which layers you want to see.

A Dalek will be placed to the right of the store concerned but you will need to zoom in to separate the 2 or click off the store location layer.

Please note as the situation on the shop floor is so fluid we will no longer list stock on the map. As far as we can tell the initial delivery for stores that have had stock was for 12 of each figure set and 6 of each Dalek. As you might expect most stores are selling out of Daleks at a faster rate than the sets. Some stores listed have already sold out of all stock

Does anyone know if the Crescent Link B&M Store in Londonderry (Northern Ireland) Has any of the sets yet? Particularly “The Keys of Marinus” Figure set?

As of 7pm Thursday 17th Sept Sensorites Box and Daleks Box were in toy aisle, waiting to go on shelf. Crescent Link is just coming out of a stocktake, so have been a bit behind Strand Road in getting these on shelves. Don’t know if either Crescent Link or Strand Road have Marinus Sets in stock or not, yet.

    Hi all,
I, like many other Dr Who fans, have become slightly disappointed, frustrated and disillusioned with the fruitless game of “hunt the B & M Dr Who sets”.
I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone for their valued contributions on this site – true collectors showing their true colours supporting one or another.
This site is excellent in updating Dr Who fans and everyone who has been involved in its development should be congratulated.
It is so disappointing however, to read comments about “bulk buying” of sets and the sporadic distribution of these latest sets.
I do appreciate that there are understandable reasons – pandemic, shortage of delivery drivers etc but surely we could ask B & M and Character Options to review the situation and perhaps offer the option to purchase these sets online?
I have already sent an email to Character Options and am awaiting a reply.
    What do we all think?

We have this every year, Distribution is better than last year so far, half the stock isn’t even out there yet, and as i have said before people have been bulk buying for years, perhaps more so this year because of the USA and Australia situation but that nothing to do with B&M, Dalek Collectors Army Build, customisers buy multiple figures, some Collectors buy one to display one to keep boxed, its partly the reason that more has been invested in these sets over the years so we are where we are, we have lots of figures no one ever thought possible a few years ago and would never have happened without B&M.

Yes you have ebay but the problem but its not exclusive the them, retailers bulk buy them, others bulk buy to help people overseas and on Facebook and forums and sell at cost for people who cant get them otherwise but no matter how good a reason they all bulk buy.

B&M wont care where the money comes from, they pay for the sets so there is nothing to review as far as they are concerned, nor Character, its good guaranteed business for them and as along as the money keeps coming in i cant see things changing.

In reality there probably is something people could do about it that is nothing to do with B&M or Character but we are not going to deal with that here.

B&M Crosshands (near Ammanford on the map) have 8 Marinus sets on the shelves, nothing else. Interestingly the shelf is marked up Dr Who Marinus sets. There were no other shelf stickers for Daleks or sensorites. So looks like they only ever had Marinus sets?

Thanks for this! Managed to get the Marinus set tonight just before the shop closed. There’s 6 of the Sensorites sets and 6 of the Marinus sets left. I asked about the Daleks, the staff member said they’ve been asked by other customers and should be getting them in soon.

    September 14th, 2021 - 10:31am

I had a quick check in Foss Island, York before starting work. Absolutely nothing, even the shelf edge label has been removed and different product put where the Sensorites sets where. If every store has been sent all the sets including the Dalek ones there’s something going on.

The york stores seem to always be a hit or miss as clifton moor either gets them months late or not at all and foss islands either has all of them or only some. None got the ace and dalek set last year and the summer wave never appeared at clifton moor so at this point I’m waiting for them to eventually reduce to retail on ebay like last years sets.

That is incorrect, I’ve been to all 3x Preston B&M’s (including Ashton-On-Ribble, Ringway & Ribbleton Lane) and Leyland B&M in the last hour and after speaking to each store manager, they confirm they’ve not had any figures of any kind but they knew what I was on about as many people have been in the last week doing what I’ve just done and all they said is “we’re expecting them soon”.

In your case its whether Parkgate or stairfoot gets them first coleman. They still seem quicker at getting the lot in one place before sheffield up to now. Lets have adric and Tegan in the next wave. That would make my day.

    • MDS

      September 14th, 2021 - 10:46am

Surely this must prove to Character that some items should be put online and preordered to give real fans the chance of getting these sets. I know B&M pay for them but the success of the Chase Daleks and 2nd Doctor Set prove that these will sell. The Basingstoke shops are not great. They did not have in any of the last wave and again it looks like we will miss out on these ones. As for future sets is it going to be worth the effort to even try looking for them!

    • booboo

      September 14th, 2021 - 11:06am

B&M’s business model is to get people in stores, we all know that, unless something has changed they even went our their way to say their new online site which is in development will not sell toys or anything that will impact on their store business.

You said it, B&M pay for it, its guaranteed business to Character, they probably get more business on their other brands of the back of it and clearly works for both parties and the sets have got better and better so why would they mess with it at the moment.

    • DWS

      September 14th, 2021 - 11:02am
