Did anyone notice the odd appearance of back circles on the new CGI for S2? They appeared in many of the CGI ‘space’ scenes, especially when featuring the liberator. It wasn’t just the odd random one, it was many on the screen in very geometric patterns.

I am surprised no one has commented on them, I did think the fault was just for me, but a mate has confirmed he has the same effect on his copy

I’ve seen it mentioned but can’t remember where, they had screenshots and it did look crazy.

I mentioned an issue i’d encountered in a previous topic that nobody else seems to have or not noticed.
“A huge pipe sticking out the side of the liberators engine in Hostage. It’s bang on chapter 3 around 18:32, it’s hard to miss as it orbits the planet.”

It’s the updated effects version and a big 3D model mistake, but nobody seems to have the same issue.
We need a dedicated forum really to talk about issues, it’s hard bouncing around everywhere looking for answers.

I know this isn’t the Final cover. (I should imagine the Cover will be the usual Cast Montage). But I do quite like this minimalist Cover and wish they’d release this as is?

Not for me. I’ve loved the art on the last two releases, so more than happy to stick with that.

I think you’ll get your wish Rory. These early Covers are just usually placeholders.

I know. The S2 placeholder was just the interior cover for S1.

I’m always happy to get more work from Lee Binding.

This artwork TBC cover is nice to look at simply because of that fantastic logo ,reminds me a bit of the original dvd complete series box sets.

I hope we have Servalyan at the top of S3 cover doing her ‘maximum power’ pose. I love these Lee Binding covers (especially S2) – the more minimalist covers are on the inside sleeve.

Could someone with access to social media please ask Paul V about the colour flicker on Terminal? The DVD, as well as a sound drop out on one of Tarrant’s lines, had a pink/yellow frame flicker that didn’t appear on other copies (including the master used for clips in the S2 extras).

Mark ayres is working on the sound so I’d be surprised if he misses it unless it’s something unfixable. I’m sure it will be brought up. As i understand it the restoration will already be completed for the vfx people to work on it and they do have a few ultra die hard Blake’s 7 fans working on that as well as checking them.

Cheers, Gordon. I suspect that nerd involvement (in a good sense) should mean we’ll be OK.

Thanks Gordon. I was wondering if these Versions in the Cardboard Sleeve and Large Colour Booklet might have some kind of limited Run. I knew they would be out in shops indefinitely but I thought in awhile they might come without the big booklet and in just the normal plastic case?

You can still easily get the cardboard sleeve and booklet for season 1 so I can’t see there being an issue

It’s sooooooo good isn’t it? S2 build and builds and then S3 picks up the baton beautifully. Most Terry Nation episode title ever also IMHO – “Terminal” lol. And the finale – oh my gosh. “Maximum power!”
