Big Finish Torchwood One I Hate Mondays

Available to order from www.bigfinsih.com

Happy Monday from Torchwood One

If you think getting up with a smile every Monday morning is a big ask, that’s nothing compared to what’s in store for the team at Torchwood One.

Due for release in May 2024 from Big Finish Productions, Torchwood One: I Hate Mondays is a brand-new box set of full-cast audio drama featuring the London branch of alien investigators first seen on screen in the Doctor Who episode Army of Ghosts.

Prepare for three of the worst Mondays ever – an alien nerve agent being transported across the country, a new Royal liaison finding there’s more going on than she ever suspected… and a dinner party at Yvonne Hartman’s North London home.

Producer James Goss said: “If you hate the office, you’ll love Torchwood One. What if the people saving the world worked in an office every bit as dysfunctional, bureaucratic and infuriating as the one you work in? And yet, somehow, they manage it anyway?”

Torchwood One: I Hate Mondays is now available to pre-order as a collector’s edition CD box set and digital download (at £22.99) or digital download (at £18.99) exclusively at www.bigfinsih.com

The three stories in this box set are:

Dinner for Yvonne by James Goss, from a story by James Goss and Joseph Lidster

  • A cloud of psychic plasma is sweeping over Salisbury Plain towards London. Unfortunately, it’s Yvonne’s night off and she’s throwing a dinner party. Will London perish before she can serve the artisanal cheese board?

By Royal Appointment by James Goss

  • Poppy Greenleaf finds herself appointed the Crown’s royal liaison for Torchwood. What is Torchwood? Who is Yvonne Hartman? Why is the world ending? Poppy finds herself lost in a world of alien invasions, international espionage and intergalactic diplomacy.

Nerves by Joseph Lidster

  • Another Monday morning, another mission for Torchwood. Ianto and Tommy have to transport a canister of deadly Euphorian nerve agent to an underground bunker in the South Downs. It should be an easy straight-forward job but other forces are gathering…

The terrific box set cast also includes Isabella Pappas (Finding Alice), Shai Matheson (Jessy and Nessy), Lu Corfield (Last Tango in Halifax) and Anniwaa Buachie (Phoenix Rise).

The above prices include the special pre-order discount and are subject to change after general release.

I adore Yvonne Hartman and Tracey Anne Oberman so I can’t wait to finally get round to her big finish era

She’s a brilliant actress, I can’t see anything on her Twitter but who cares anyway people have different opinions there’s no rules about how to live. (At least not in the real world anyway)

I think someone that throws out false accusations of anti-semitism should he condemned, it’s not just living by a different rule. She’s had to pay out substantial libel damages over this. She’s an awful person.

Accusing somebody of something, realizing she was wrong, publicly apologizing, I still can’t really see the awful,

I love this series, probably more than the “Among” collection. If you have never heard

    Less Majesty by James Goss
Yvonne Hartman wakes up in a reasonably nice hotel room next to a dead member of the royal family. Awkward.

A West end bedroom farce on audio. Is a masterpiece of the range and what they can do.

So looking forward to this. I didn’t think we would get any more.
