Big Finish Torchwood 80 Sabotage

Available to order from www.bigfinish.com

Boom and doom as Ace and Mr Colchester return!

Sophie Aldred and Paul Clayton are reunited in a brand-new full-cast audio drama due for release in February 2024 from Big Finish Productions.

Once upon a time, Dorothy McShane used to blow things up. Now she runs a charity putting them back together. Mr Colchester works for Torchwood, and he’s suspicious of everything. Torchwood: Sabotage marks the third encounter between Doctor Who’s most Ace companion and Torchwood’s bon viveur agent.

Vultura has started mining some mountains in a state in India. The local villagers are displaced into a resettlement camp, and are retaliating. Brought in to stop the sabotage is Mr Colchester, who finds that the camp is overseen by Ace. Who is causing the sabotage? His suspicions are aroused. Ace always was good with explosives.

Torchwood: Sabotage is now available to pre-order as a collector’s edition CD (+ download for just £10.99) or as a digital download only (for just £8.99), exclusively from www.bigfinish.com

Producer James Goss said: “I love that Ace and Mr Colchester work so well as a pairing. Their third outing sees them on opposite sides of a moral dilemma. “Mr Colchester is working for ‘A Sinister Mining Company’ and Ace is doing all she can to bring them down. Obviously, they’re at loggerheads from the get-go, and the story is about the game of cat and mouse they play with each other.

“The notion came from designer Sean Longmore, who suggested I watch How To Blow Up A Pipeline – which is, again, about activists and authorities squaring off against each other and also lots of explosions. This story features both Ms McShane, patient head of a powerful charity trying to do the right thing, and also Ace, her inner teenager who solves every problem by blowing it up.

“All the scenes with Sophie and Paul are delights as they enjoy sparking off each other so much.”

Torchwood contains adult material and may not be suitable for younger listeners. Sabotage is also available as part of a six-release Torchwood – Monthly Range bundle for just £60 (collector’s edition CD + download) or £50 (download only). A 12-release bundle is also available for just £110 (collector’s edition CD + download) or £96 (download only).

I am glad you feature Torchwood. Some of the best Big Finish work in the last quarter of a century sits in this range.

wonderful stories with minimal casts, some fabulous premise plots, along with some hilarious fun on the way. out of all of them non of them are less than 9/10 with many in the 10/10 bracket.

I adore Mr Rochester , they have done awful things to him the wroters, and putting him with ACE , they are both the perfect companions to each other. Torchwood: Fall To Earth is an example of sound design selling the whole story.
