The last sutekh outing on audio was so eagerly anticipated by me, but turned out to be a massive let-down. I wonder whether it is because of my over enthusiasm for pyramids of mars since its first appearance on telly, and which i have read countless times in target form…i do hope the upcoming story will be more than incredible…

So Big Finish has revived Sutekh for the second time in their works, making for the third time total in recent EU Doctor Who that has revived him (Titan Comics brought him back a year or two back with their Anubis arc). A bit odd after writers kept him dead for nearly 40 years before this wave of Sutekh return stories started. I’ve got no strong feelings of them bringing him back more frequently, but I wonder if other folks here do.

I am Sutekh the Destroyer. Where I tread, I leave nothing but dust and darkness. I find that good.
