H.R. Puppet Stuff! By Kroffty
- This colorful piece tracks the careers of the legendary Sid and Marty Krofft through puppet merchandise, it will make you smile.
The Lost Outer Space Men
- Contributor Steve Fink returns with another tale of tracking down an impossible grail or in this case, six, the legendary second series of Colorforms Outer Space Men.
Godzilla’s Gang
- Ray Miller does a deep dive into the 1978 Mattel “Godzilla’s Gang” toyline, highlighting their origins. This is a lot of fun.

- One of my passions, the Mego-produced Doctor Who toy line is explored in great detail with prototype shots, variations, and never-before-seen reveals.
A figure called Sloane
- Chris G blew us away when he discovered the abandoned Kenner Toy Line to the obscure 1970s TV series “A Man Called Sloane”. Did I mention that I love that show?

January 4th, 2022 - 11:17pmI never had the Cyberman but i did have a fourth Doctor, Dalek, K-9 and TARDIS. I dropped the TARDIS downstairs on Christmas day and it completely fell apart. I was really upset as i’d not had it two minutes. Luckily my dad was able to fix it.
As Doug says, the Dalek was fantastic. Cardboard TARDIS less so but it was good at making the Doctor disappear. Never really sure what that was all about.

January 5th, 2022 - 11:48amYes the cardboard TARDIS was pretty flimsy! Glad your Dad could fix it!
That was some Christmas getting the Doctor and TARDIS and still have them. The light got damaged on mine, but found a replacement many years later.
I was never sure about the vanishing Doctor either! Seemed more apt for the Star Trek transporter they did.

January 4th, 2022 - 11:00pmLove the Denys Fisher/Mego range! I think theirs was the best Dalek toy up that point apart from the beautiful Codeg tin plate ones. The Giant Robot was fantastic too!
This looks really interesting especially with regard to the prototypes so a definite buy. Wonder if the fabled Davros figure ever reached the prototype stage? Such a shame the Bif Bang Pow tribute range ended too.
