Doctor Who Magazine Issue 567
Going on holiday might not be so easy this year, but we can remember some of the highlights of summers past in the new issue of DWM:

July 21st, 2021 - 2:57pmFor all those asking there’s no comic strip. There also doesn’t look like there’s one next issue either.
There might be some original fiction next issue though. I’m not sure. In the ‘Next Issue’ trail it says “Black Powder – A new Adventure by Joy Wilkinson”
Whether that’s a new comic strip she’s written or a new book release, or simply a story she’s written for the magazine…Who knows?

Black Powder is a new piece of thirteenth Doctor fiction written especially for the magazine. Part one is in the next issue.

July 21st, 2021 - 9:34amYou are not alone in that dale. I find it hard to credit the peri stories. After what must now be decades of travel she doesn’t age and happens to put the same outfit on for caves she was wearing hundreds of stories ago! Sometimes less really is more.

July 20th, 2021 - 3:31pmworth getting this time for the exhibitions feature alone but i will buy for the tributes to Damaris and Jackie. So nice to see the third doctor treating a sontaran and sea devil to a day trip to blackpool. Although i couldn,t imagine a sea devil emerging from the irish sea especially with all the effluent that was pumped into the sea back in the 70s. they couldn,t get out quick enough.

Should be a good issue, if a little poignant with the two tributes.
Did you download John Collier’s free e-book on the original Blackpool exhibition? Almost (but not quite) the last word on the subject. A sequel coming is this August to which I’ve contributed a bit!
