Doctor Who Figurine Gold Dalek Bonus Edition 1
Watch out; the Daleks are here! From the hit BBC TV series, comes this brilliant bonus edition Gold Dalek Model joining the Doctor Who Collection.
Your figurine shows the Gold Dalek standing 7cm tall, the leader of the Daleks on 22nd-century Earth from the Day of the Daleks. It’s a planet ravaged by nuclear war, a war that should never have happened.
The Doctor has to use all his wits to try to thwart the Daleks’ plans, and also to stop guerrillas from the future accidentally starting the war in the first place!
Comes with a magazine, read every adventure with the Gold Daleks brought under the microscope and a look behind the scenes at the making of the classic adventure from 1972!

April 10th, 2017 - 4:50pmI think the point collectors are saying is that if they dont get this extra line of figures even though eaglemoss say they arent part of the collection people will feel they have an incomplete collection.it is a little bit sneaky as if they extended the issue number and did it that way then people would see it as the collection.not everyone can buy the bonus ones now and wait till pay day then on payday they are sold out.if that is the case they should guarantee every subscriber one and give them a date to pay for it by.after that date they go on general sale.

March 2nd, 2017 - 8:57pmEaglemoss said to me that the bonus daleks are not part of the doctor who figurine collection.well to me they sure as hell look like it in the way they are…and packaged the same way.even the magazine is the same.why mislead people.we would probably buy them anyway as all collectors would not feel like they had the whole collection.and yet the response is they are not part of it.yeah right.they treat their subscribers like muppetts.they have had so much money off each subscriber wheres the loyalty? Wheres the respect off them….down the bog.they don’t care…they have already had your money and as this collection ends soon they are more bothered with their newer collections.yes i am a collector of this series of figurines and ss a premium subscriber feel a tadd aggrieved.eaglemoss have to get a grip.
booboo
March 2nd, 2017 - 9:14pmthey are not part of the subscription, no doubt if they were people would complain about paying for just repaints of existing moulds.
they are available to buy individually just like any of the figures in the main range
They have therefore given people the choice to add them to their collection it makes no difference financially anyway because you would end up paying for them either way
they should be congratulated for not making people pay for something they may not want.
Old Cyberman still going strong

October 8th, 2016 - 11:26pmI know it’s not part of the televised collection, but it would be nice to see a Dalek from “Engines of War” (Time war Dalek) The metallic blue and silver one. Loving this collection.
The Werewolf
October 8th, 2016 - 4:28pmFor those thinking about why these Daleks exist. It’s because these are just complete repaints of existing figures, and they probably thought it wouldn’t be fair for them to take up regular slots or Rare Dalek slots so they chose this way.
And no, the Rare Daleks have not finished yet.

October 7th, 2016 - 8:14pmSo these are the same size figures as the standard collection but these are not part of the collection ???

October 7th, 2016 - 12:03amI’m just not amused at this separate line, considering packing the collection in now.

October 7th, 2016 - 11:40amI’m happy enough with these Bonus Daleks although I’m a bit surprised something as ‘big-hitter’ iconic as the Gold Dalek from ‘Day of’ isn’t being included in the main fortnightly collection. I think the place where Eaglemoss could help itself – and keep morale and enthusiasm around the Collection up – is to communicate a bit more clearly. Right now I follow them on Twitter and that seems to be the most reliable ‘you heard it first’ source for what is coming next or, in the case of the Mega Dalek line and now this new Bonus Dalek line, a bit of explanation as to what is going on. They have said on Twitter that they will be continuing the Rare Daleks sub-set for premium subscribers, but nothing official has been said e.g. on their website or via an e-mail to subscribers. I think that might help. Otherwise we keep seeing people asking ‘what am I paying my extra £1 per issue for now???’ if they don’t follow Twitter (and fair enough), even though this has been answered by the DWFC range manager now.
KORSAIR
October 7th, 2016 - 3:25pmI do follow them on twitter but think they’d need to make things clear for subscribers, I just can’t get my head around the idea of this bonus Daleks set!!!

October 6th, 2016 - 8:58pmBut will we still be paying the extra pound………………….for nothing?

October 6th, 2016 - 9:37pmI’m counting 37, excluding cobwebbed Asylum variations. Did you include modern variations because I’m getting 13 classic variations?
prototype dalek
October 6th, 2016 - 9:45pmWell I mainly classed big variant daleks (not grey) and no asylum variants as that is endless.

October 6th, 2016 - 6:54pmI wonder if Eaglemoss decided to sell the Gold Supreme and DIoE daleks in their Collections shop so that they could start adding companions to the collection.
Gareth Pugh
October 7th, 2016 - 9:49amYeah, it feels like there is some plan in place behind it – maybe it is (like you suggest) to make more room in the regular fortnightly collection for companions – or other enemies? Or perhaps it’s to ‘top up’ a possible 2nd gold plinth – say, a mix of further Rare subscriber Daleks and a few sold-as-separate standalone Bonus Daleks? It gives EM some flexibility as to when to end the main run and have any gold subscriber plinths filled up by the end. If they do decide to end it at 110 regular issues, that’d be 3 more Rare Daleks – they just need to issue a 3rd and 4th Bonus Dalek and job done…
booboo
October 7th, 2016 - 10:27amthere as been a shift in PR as well, like others i am now getting despatch emails for subscription figures and they are wanting to make more of their shop, like you say, I think plans are a foot and they are testing the waters
Aries57
October 18th, 2016 - 6:54pmBooboo I think the PR shift is in response to so many complaints about Late ,lost and miss-packaged orders, until the last two months my deliveries have been haphazard to say the least. until I messaged Mr Robinson raising the issues,All seems back on course again.
As for this Bonus Line, I think it’s a bit of a double edged sword because of the sheer number of variations there are with the Dalek’s, issuing a bonus line for die hard collectors makes good sense, and it does indeed, as others have said free up issue numbers for other figurines from the show. If some of those are companions you will not hear me complain. the problem for EM would be choosing which companions to leave out.Top of my list of must haves are the original 3 Susan Ian and Barbara Sarah Jane, naturally, Jamie, the Brig, Tegan Adric. Rose Donna and possibly Clara. One never knows perhaps a second bonus set of every companion
The Werewolf
October 18th, 2016 - 7:29pmI hope companions are a bonus line so we who don’t want companions don’t have to get them but those who do want them can buy them.
